I had a craving for chinese food, thought i would give warung lina a try. I wasnt disappointed. Real worl warung catering for mainly locals. I has chicken spring rolls, full of pieces of chicken. Fried noodles with chicken and battered chicken liecrs with sweet and sour sauces. Washed down with a coke, total bill was $7.70aud. (77,000 rupiah). Has vegetarian and many seafood options. If your a tourist, dont expect a restaurant, but you will get restaurant quality food and can eat very well on a budget. Located at end of lovina market on the highway. Honest and delicious food! As many travelers I had my fair share of bland nasi gorengs and micro satays. Than I came across Lina's. The place is humble yes friendly. Food is fresh and abudnat. The ribs are spectacular!!! The big surprise was also a grilled squid. The piece is 100k per kilo. There is not many place in the world with eat seafood at that price. The taste was great and an experience left me with an Italian curse on my lips. I was overjoyed! Fried tofu and spring rolls are good as well. Also the lemonade is worth a try. Arguably the best warung in Singaraja. Went to this place on a daily basis for almost 2 years for mostly dinner which was about 10 years ago. Just returned and the food has that same delicious signature taste like 10 years ago! Just unbelievable. Special mention to Herry the owner and his lovely family. They make you feel welcome and treat you like family. I'll be back...
