This small coffee roastery has all the ingredients for a perfect morning – a cozy vibe, wallet-friendly prices, and mouthwatering food.
The moment I walked in, I was enveloped in the warmth of the place. The rustic decor, with wooden tables and soft cushions, created a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home!!
I decided to go all out and ordered the "Monster Breakfast," and boy, was I in for a treat! The plate arrived brimming with eggs cooked to perfection, crispy bacon, savory sausages, grilled tomatoes, and a generous 2 slices of sourdough bread. It was a hearty meal that left me both satisfied and eager to return for more.
But the real star of the show was the coffee. Being a coffee enthusiast, I had high expectations, and Hungry Bird did not disappoint. Their in-house roasted coffee was a revelation – rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. It paired flawlessly with my breakfast and kept me energized throughout the day.
What's even more impressive about Hungry Bird is their commitment to affordability. In a place like Bali, where prices can sometimes be a shocker, this roastery stands out for offering top-notch food and drinks at a fraction of what you'd expect to pay elsewhere.
The friendly staff and the laid-back vibe of the place only added to the overall experience. It's the kind of spot where you can spend hours sipping on your coffee, enjoying good food, and engaging in conversations with fellow travelers or locals.
Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just someone looking for a tasty, budget-friendly breakfast, Hungry Bird is the place to be. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu. Will defiantly return...

Read moreDear Hungry Bird, I have always loved your coffee. Your coffee is my favourite coffee in the world. I have been drinking coffees and purchasing beans from you since you were in the original location. I think since the year you first opened. I was recently diagnosed with coeliac disease, and while I cannot enjoy any of the food you offer, I still like to come for coffee. Last time I politely asked if I could have my gluten free pastry from elsewhere with my coffee and the staff member told me that you didn't allow food from outside. I went to explain that I would have loved to purchase something from you but that I couldn't because of medical reasons. I was still very coldly told that you just don't allow food from outside and that's it. I have to say I am very disappointed and frankly quite sad because you were one of my favourite coffee places in the world and I love buying coffee from your roastery. Funnily enough I wanted to buy a Hungry Bird t-shirt with the coffee had today. I had decided to buy it after I finish it, and I am glad I did, because I would never wear it. I understand that you don't want people to bring food from outside but you should try to understand that living with dietary restrictions and strict diet is very complicated and frustrating. It is a medical condition not a fashionable diet. If you don't offer anything to cater for people with this disease you should not frown upon if somebody brings their own. It was just one piece...
