HORRIBLE BUYING EXPERIENCE. Lack of confidence in this agency. Why use an agency if they can't get back your deposit? There are MANY options on how to buy property in Bali. Do some research.

I just finished reading Emma Li's review and had the same experience, only I've dealt with their horrible service for 2 years!! Lost millions of RP and horrible customer service. THEY DON'T CARE. As long as you sign the contract. If you're a future buyer please read on:

Highlights: Poor customer service ( Four agents + slow responding) Manager poor response rate' (Lucas) Owner kept majority of the deposit and the agency doesn't care.

Bottom Line: Look elsewhere for good service and reliable people if you're a buyer for short or long term.

In depth:

Customer service is quite poor here as the agents have a high turn around. I've dealt with 4 agents and 2 managers during the 2 year process .

Lucas is there main guy and although he may seem like he can get things done, there is very little that he is actually willing to do. He's incredibly hard to get ahold of and sometimes takes DAYS to respond.

THE BIGGEST disappointment came at check out time when the Owner created a ludicrous bill that the agency accepted at face value and after months of sending tons of proof of the villa the day of check in and check out, videos, photos, testimony, their agents visiting the property and my. manager vouching. They finally agreed that the bill was indeed ludicrous and found in my favor.

UNFORTUNATELY. They have little to no power to compel the owner to pay back the deposit so I ended up losing around 5 million RP. To some this isn't a lot and Lucas made it seem like it was so small that it wasn't worth his time. He needs to understand sometimes it's the issue of the matter...if the amount was "So small" why doesn't he or company cover the amount? This would've resulted in a completely different review as they targeted the customers needs and grievances.

Side note: Their contract READS as if there is an issue they would be able to handle it. REALITY: The contract protects the company from any liability.

End point: If your agency can't help you in bad situations, why even use an agency? You have the same protection as buying directly from the owner without having any...

Can't thank Rina from Bali Home immo enough! We looked at a number of properties with other agents and it was always the same issue - photos of properties that were taken when the property was new, on inspection the villas were run down and not what was advertised, we started to loose hope of finding the perfect place!, so much so that my wife suggested that i start doing initial viewings on my own, instead of dragging the kids around all-day. After contacting Bali Home immo, Rina showed me 3 villas (that were all as advertised) but just weren't quite right for me and my family. At the end of the viewings Rina gave me some great "honest" advice about location etc (with the school our kids are going to attend in mind), and said "i have the perfect place for you!", two days later she showed me the property ,which was absolutely perfect!. The next morning we arranged a second viewing so i could show my wife & kids, we all loved it and agreed to take the property, in less than a week the place was ours. Be careful this villa is noisy and with a lot of humidity issue. They will not hesitate to hide the issues and then you’ll discover them on deep checkin. Look at this door: seems in a good state but when we opened it it was full of moisture. The door nearly fall on my girlfriend feet, it could have hurt her really seriously.

They will put pressure on you to pay a deposit quickly and then the villa is not ready for checking

The villa was also dirty with a lot of issues

They only refund us half of deposit even if the villa was not ready.

We got other major issue with this agency: we put a deposit on villa and then someone added 5M to stole the villa from us. At this point what the utility of the deposit if it doesn’t secure the villa ?

second villa which was suppose to be finished and quiet end up unfinished and with a huge construction aside from the owner.

And the third one has major humidity issue…
