I never write reviews but this restaurant didn't leave me any choice. It was so bad I feel obligated to warn people about what they're getting themselves into if they choose to come here.
Upon entering you would think you're going to get a delicious meal with primo service. The place made you feel like you're in an elevated restaurant. But you can not judge a book by its cover.
The food was cooked by what looked like one of the waiters that doesn't know anything about the cuts of meat and how they should be cooked. We were served raw beef finger and raw beef tongue. If there was food safety in this country this restaurant would have been shut down ages ago.
The bill came out to roughly 1million per person. We all agreed that we would have been more satisfied if we were to go to a warung and pay 1 million there.
You would think with the prices they were charging they would spend some money to train their staff right. The manager just stood around with the staff while we sat there table full of dirty dishes and empty glasses. Not once did anyone come to our table and ask how everything was. The only service we had was when the door was opened for us when we left.
Apparently they shut down their old account after a flurry of recent bad reviews and started this account. Expect to see a lot of new accounts with fake 5 star reviews. If I could give negative or 0 stars I definitely would because even 1 star is too much for this...
Read more5 friends and I recently visited this new restaurant. We decided on this place from images on their instagram page. When you first walk in the ambience was pleasant, well lit with nice mood lighting. That is the only thing I can comment positive about this place, looks are deceiving. The service here is absolutely terrible, there are so many staff doing nothing. Food took so long main courses came out before appetizers. At some point we had so many dishes on our table, with the staff just standing around we helped them clear the dishes to the kitchen. I must point out, the restaurant was not busy. Maybe 2 other tables... The price for the food is relatively more than other places, so we were expecting above grade quality food. However the price did not justify the quality of the food. It was probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever tried in Bali. The food was tasteless and with extremely small portions. We ordered the Japanese wagyu and they forgot to give us salt for the meat. We had to request is from the staff. The vegetable were not cooked and was served raw. I would only recommend this restaurant to someone I really dislike If I could give less than 1 star I would. For its exorbitant price with lack of customer service and poor food quality. The ambiance - it is so very today, classy, and comfortable. The restaurant was extremely quiet with only 2 tables the whole night. No smokey smell cuz we opt for not grilling on the table.
This is a yakiniku restaurant with exhaust under the table but whatever made it up with create a smokey environment for the guests before it dissipates above. So we decided to have them grilled the meats for us in the kitchen.
The food menu offering was very good actually. The wine offering was not nearly as good in neither the selection nor the prices. The meats were just OK. The wagyu didn’t come out right or nice. I didn’t take picture cuz it looked just like globs of fat. The strip loin was good. All other dishes, appetizers and deserts were tasty and satisfying.
The service - the 1st waitress was completely clueless of the menu (which was short) but luckily there were 2 other who saved the day. The guy was good with our orders both food and the alcoholic beverages. The appetizers came quickly then meat order took forever despite that we were the only table at that point around 9pm.
So yeah, I have mixed feelings about the restaurant. Good for just...
