Second time here, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. While we expected a scrumptious Japanese meal in this location, it didn't meet our expectations. Firstly, it's an izakaya, not a full-service restaurant, so a complete meal might not be realistic to anticipate. Secondly, the extensive menu can be overwhelming, leaving you unsure of what to order. Thirdly, the prices are high, especially for an outskirt location, and even more so compared to those in town. The positive reviews often mention the yakitori, priced at 20-30k per piece, but we found it underwhelming. The tempura moriawase, priced at 98k, was disappointingly soggy. Additionally, we ordered bone karage by mistake, priced at 58k, which was pricier than the regular chicken karage at 48k for 4 pcs. Even the chicken wasabi yakitori was ok, nothing impressive. Our total bill was at 300k something including one fried rice and two drinks, felt excessive considering the experience. In town, I can enjoy a delicious and fulfilling Japanese set meal at a similar price point. Our previous experience with chicken katsu...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews (this is my first negative review, and I hope it will be my last), but I really have to this time. The food was the most disgusting we’ve ever encountered. I would have given zero stars if that were possible. The chicken gyoza was raw and undercooked; I noticed my son had already eaten all of his (hoping we don’t get food poisoning). The sushi set was old, and the fish was defrosted. The chicken yakitori set was also old, with the chicken liver tasting completely rotten. I had to spit it out for my health’s sake. The gyu tataki tasted old and defrosted, and the negi on top was also defrosted (seriously, you can at least chop them fresh!). I was absolutely disgusted. The waitresses were very apologetic, and the poor quality of the food was not their fault. I had to cancel my main dish because I lost my appetite after all that. I would never go back there again. I'm a foodie and grew up in the kitchen; this restaurant was the worst I’ve ever been to. I still feel...
Read moreI tried Fried shrimps, some skewers (chicken & pork). They were yums.
Confusing and highly overpriced Gyutan Chahan with very few gyutan pieces. Rice were unevenly mixed and really lack of flavor.
The Japanese burger had many beef tissue on it, even though tasted pretty good.
The daifuku had too chewy skin. I couldn't swallow it.
In conclusion the food were generally good but the pricing can be better because some menus are...
