Warung Janggar Ulam — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I loved this place because of the good and affordable food. But the biggest reason was the ambience. They have a little pond full of lotus flower that is heavenly when they are all in bloom, and the surroundings are sprawling rice fields while you sit in the breeze inside one of the gazebos beside the pond. The last time we went, however, someone had purchased the rice fields right beside it and decided to build an ugly concrete wall that cuts off the view of the fields, and also blocks the breeze from flooring through. It's probably not their fault that happened but it was nowhere as enjoyable as before. Come here for the food, and it's still nice and spacious, but it lost a huge chunk of it's charm for someone who knew what it was...

No complaints at all about the wonderful setting of this acclaimed Warung just in the south of Ubud. I would have loved to see more vegetarian options, though, as others have said. Lassies/smoothies/juices all looked good.

There are a lot of delicious and very special Warungs around Ubud, and this is no doubt one of them. However, it wasn't quite enough to bring me back another time I don't think. Perhaps I should have tried dinner time instead of lunch, but it was a little less memorable than some other restaurants.

Again, not a complaint, just sharing why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. You should definitely give this place a shot and see what you think! Hundreds of other great reviews cannot be...

Food taste and presentation mediocre Price just enough as Warung Jangar Ulam title and not over price

I Was there for diner on March 7 got table no 14 over looking to rice field.

Level of service need to be improved, some how wait staff did not familiar enought for what said on the menus. The most their moveable are busy with their own servicing time and hardly to get them in for an extra service needed.

At the end of diner, so I have to go to cashier station for paying bill and keeping me to wait long enough, were no one at the time for some reasons, can see that other staff tried to call and find her.
