Section 9 — Restaurant in Bali

On Tuesday, September 13th 2022.

I missed Ubud vibes so I did sightseeing around Ubud and my last stop at Section 9 Restaurant. The ambiance was excellent and so beautiful. The perfect combination of earth tone color from the design building and green from the rice field.

Located in Tebongkang, Ubud. Near Pepito Supermarket, it's easy to find this restaurant. The parking area is not too large, maybe fit to 3-4 cars. Better use a motorbike.

They served western foods,  there also Indonesian food but not much. I ordered dessert : French Toast, snack : chicken finger and a glass of cold Café Latte. I underestimated for the food because I think some restaurants just sell panoramic not the taste or sell the taste without panoramic.

First I love their French Toast guys. Its perfect combination from maple granola, salted caramel, compote berries, 2 soft brioche breads with ice cream on the top. The taste was so good, sweet and sour mixed together bite to bite.

The second one is Chicken Finger (sorry I forgot to take a picture). The chicken is juicy and served with homemade dip sauce. The last is Café Latte. The combination of espresso and steamed milk with iced is rich in taste. Very happy when sipping it while looking at the view of the rice fields.

The staff are friendly and a good act of service. I spent IDR. 132.000 for the food and drink.

For your information there is a promo on this month I think. Buy one pasta and one coffee the price is IDR. 70.000 before tax...

Be aware for the 5 star reviews! They offer 10% discount on the bill. I did an honest review and they refused the discount. They only give it with a 5 star review. When we walked in the first thing they said you cant drink your water here, of course that is common sense, but i am not leaving it on the scooter in the hot sun. We missed a welcoming good morning. The funny thing is that we saw others having their own drink. We ordered 3 dishes and 2 drinks. The plan was to order more dishes but because of the service we left it with only 3. Before we where able to finish reading the menu they already came soon to take our order, it felt like they where rushing us. The place itself has a nice view. The food is decent, mac and cheese was a small portion. The bagel with cream cheese had a tiny bit of cream cheese, when asked for a normal amount they wanted to charge extra. The smoothie bowl had a nice taste, a bit too watery but taste was nice! Because of the lack of good service we are not coming back and will continue for food at...

My wife and I had a fantastic breakfast at this charming cafe. The moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene view of the lush rice fields—it was the perfect setting for a relaxing morning.

The breakfast options were both delicious and beautifully presented. I enjoyed a dish with perfectly crispy elements topped with a creamy sauce, served on fresh bread with a bed of arugula, while my wife had a tasty wrap that was just as satisfying. The food was fresh, flavorful, and portioned generously, leaving us both full and happy.

To complement the wonderful food, the coffee was excellent—rich, bold, and exactly what we needed to kickstart our day. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
