This place was thoroughly disappointing (I was expecting a 4.8* restaurant at western prices). I had the mie goreng, which was decidedly average, at 3x the cost of any normal warung, where you can tell that the staff are more connected with the business that they are working in.

The detail that annoyed me - they give you a pretty icky plate of chips as a starter for free. A small bottle of water costs 47K. There is no filtered water provided outside of that, so once you’re thirsty, you need to buy a bottle of water for $3. Went here on a night out, on a Saturday, and even though I got here with some friends around 7:30pm, we were the only people in the restaurant for a little while. That didn't matter. The servers were kind, patient, and attentive, and the food was delicious. We got the mie goreng, the trio Babi, the beef satay skewers, the black pepper beef, and the coconut pancakes, and all was amazing.
