Warung Jaba — Restaurant in Bali

Got beef, chicken and fish with rice. And to be honest, rice was the most delicious part of the meal. Beef itself probably whitnessed Jesus himself as chewy(and dry) as it was. Fish was just a dry piece of something, was afraid to break the plate while separating a piece from it. Chicken and T-Rex share common DNA and the chicken is the closest relative to him. Same way it was (and looked). Old. Dry.

I have no idea for how long the dishes are standing there waiting to be bought.

So here I just want to thank you for my 2nd Bali belly in 1 week being of Bali. Can't imagine having and doing...

We were visitong this warung for almost a month and we were always satisfied with food :) during lunchtime you can choose from various vegan/vegetarian obtions (tofu,tempeh,vegetables,..). During dinner there might be some things sold out. In general, food is very fresh but no always hot. Ladies working here are extremly nice and you get a big portion of tasty food for unbeatble prices on this street. We prefer Jaba from Bu Mi because of better taste and less garlic in food. 15k for coconut is also great price on this street. Juiced are not very tasty, but they are not good in bali in general. However, smoothie bowl is the best we had in regular warung so far. Very good atmosphere and much more quit than for example warung Local. 5stars! We will miss this place and...

I don't write this review lightly, but unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very negative. Five days ago, my friends and I ate here, and all four of us suffered from severe food poisoning. In my case, I even had to call an ambulance, and now I’m $500 poorer.

While the food was okay in terms of taste, it was clearly left out in the display for too long, which most likely caused our illness. Even after several days, we are still recovering.

I don’t want to give a bad name to any restaurant, but this is an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Please pay more attention to the freshness of the food to prevent such incidents...
