Ambrogio Patisserie — Restaurant in Bandung City

Maybe I put my expectations too high seeing all the previous reviews here, but I left the restaurant feeling disappointed.

I came here during a one day vacation with my family: my wife and my 3 boys. Well, the service was good, we don't need to wait long for the food to serve. The food presentations were nice. We ordered cheese pizza, chicken salad, fries, spaghetti bolognaise, cream salmon spaghetti, spring roll, tahu lada garam, and a glass of ice chocolate. They all really looked nice, unfortunately not so with the taste. It wasn't bad, but not special either and just didn't live up to our expectations, especially considering the price. And it's really lacking vegetarian options.

My boys didn't really like the pizza, they said it had too much cheese in it. The spaghetti was just so so. The tahu lada garam was cooked with too much flour, and the seasoning was kind of weird as I tasted a bit ginger in it, quite different than the one we usually found in a chinese restaurant. The salad had very nice fresh vegetables, but I think the chicken was too much and I didn't really like the way it was cooked, I think it was curried, which was a bit weird for a salad. Even my son didn't like the ice chocolate.

Ambience was nice, but not special either.

Overall, it's not a bad restaurant, but the foods are just not our taste, especially that the prices are on a higher side. I think I'd prefer going to other restaurants next time we visit...

Ambrogio Patisserie in Bandung truly impressed during my recent visit for a light dinner. While its name might suggest a focus solely on pastries, this charming spot offers a much wider culinary appeal, perfect for a relaxed evening meal.

I opted for the thin-crust mushroom pizza, which was a delightful choice, along with their crispy onion rings and the flavorful spicy garlic tofu. Every dish was well-prepared and hit the spot, showcasing a menu that successfully extends beyond just sweet treats.

What truly elevated the experience, however, was the ambiance. Ambrogio boasts a wonderfully spacious layout, thoughtfully blending comfortable indoor seating with refreshing outdoor areas. This mix creates a versatile and inviting atmosphere that feels both airy and cozy, making it ideal for various occasions.

The presence of abundant greenery, though I did note a few plastic plants indoors, largely contributes to this pleasant, natural feel. Adding to the positive vibe was the friendly and attentive staff, who ensured a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Ambrogio Patisserie is undoubtedly a fantastic recommendation for friends, families, and colleagues looking for a great place to dine, relax, and socialize in Bandung. It’s a definite must-visit for its delicious food and...

Tempatnya nyaman banget untuk berlama-lama. Indoor outdoor enakeun. Lighting bgs buat foto (penting) pdhl lampunya kuning dan gak terang gitu. Toiletnya gak bau, bersih, terang. Ada musholanya juga. Area makan jg terbagi ke dalam dua; smoking dan non smoking area. Tapi parkirannya gak terlalu luas sih. Aku kurang tau kl lagi penuh, mobilnya bisa diparkir sblh mana, cuma kang parkirnya banyak dan sangat helpful

Makanannya WORTH TO BUY!!! Harga segitu jadi terasa affordable karena overall makanannya well served & porsinya jg bukan porsi basa-basi karena banyak, gak usa takut gak kenyang deh pkknya!

Menu yg udh pernah ku coba: Kwetiau. Standar sih sbnrnya tapi porsinya banyak banget, bumbunya jg berasa. Harganya 50rb. (sorry aku lupa namanya), tapi intinya sorbét yang disiram dengan teh 😋 Sorbétnya ada rasa strawberry, lemon, dan mangga.. Untuk menu ini, aku gak recommend yg tropical fruit karena rasa rempah2 di dalam tehnya terlalu kuat terus rasa madu di dalam ice creamnya somehow mendominasi (aku gak suka madu btw). Tapi kl pilih yang strawberry, aman sih. Most fav yg lemon! Sorbétnya asem seger. PASTRYNYA ENAK! Mirip sama croissant yg aku beli di Albert Heijn Belanda 😉 dan harganya 15rb aja untuk yg plain, 28rb untuk yg cheese ham. Ice cream: Sorbét yang rasa lemon Enak! Asem seger. Kl blueberry yogurtnya b aja sih tapi creamy dan ada blueberry chuncksnya. Yg coklat enak banget, chocolate flavornya rich jadi pahit2 manis gitu, ada 2 macam, yg satu milky bgt & ada choco chipsnya, satu lg yg valrhona teksturnya lebih thic dan chocolate flavornya jauh lbh rich. Mille crepenya lumayan lah, cocoa powdernya gak well-blend sih pas dimakan, kaya masih mendominasi pahitnya. Tapi creamnya enak! Roti yg pakai saus caramel sama ada potongan walnutnya. Enak jg rotinya lembut, sausnya gak terlalu manis, potongan kacangnya jg gak pelit. Nasi daging sapi bumbu blackpeppernya Enak!! Dagingnya generous, gak alot juga, dan bumbunya meresep Kopinya so so lah tapi affordable (good point!) MACARONNYA ENAK!!! 😭 Aku belom nemu lg sih di Bandung kualitas macaron yg kaya gitu. Terjangkau lagi harganya 11rb 🙏 Pizzanya jg enak! Pizza doughnya tipis gitu, garing. Toppingnya pakai sliced beef yg tebel2. Sausnya bolognese. mac n cheesenya enak jg. Dia harum banget keju sumpah. Dan gak mahteh. Tapi potongan hamnya kurang banyak hiks spaghetti bolognesenya kuat banget rasa tomatnya tapi daging cincangnya banyak. Cuma kurang recommend menurutku LEMONADE NEVER WRONG!!!! 🔥❤ Ranch chicken saladnya enak, dada ayamnya digrilled pakai rempah2 rasa arab gitu agak kari fried mac and cheesenya juga so gewd! melt croquettenya so so lah (tp i prefer fried mac n cheese sih) coffee with avocado puree and vanilla ice cream (lupa bgt namanya apa) was good! Alpukatnya banyak & kualitas alpukatnya sangat baik tapi went too sweet pdhl udah minta gak pakai gula. roti coklatnya jg enak! Chicken marinara was really good! Ayamnya tebal, tepungnya tasty tapi gak gitu tebal, saucenya enak, friesnya jg super tasty! the steak was also super good! 🤤 grilled chickennya jg mantep sih. Well grilled (jd tetep juicy tapi rasa digrillnya tetep ada). Mushroom saucenya enak jg. Soto betawinya standar lah. Tapi isi dagingnya banyak. Emping enak! Chicken cordon bleunya yaa so so lah. You better trying out another menu. Mango cakenya enak deh! Enak banget 😭 Well blend si cream, mango puré sama biscuit crumble di bawahnya. Gak enek samsek! Malah asem seger. chicken steaknya so so. Bumbunya meresep banget sih. Dada ayamnya jg juicy. Terus dikasi steamed sliced potato diatasnya pakai mozarella nasgornya mantep! Tapi kemanisan menurut aku. Lupa banget...
