Going to Sonoma Gold for dessert after hearty breakfast, I totally like their classic old building vibes with spacious parking area and super cute interior design, there's also small koi fish pond in the back of eating area with big tree for shades. In this visit for something sweet, me and my friends ordered Banana Chocolate Almond Croffle (sweet sugary croffle topped with chocolate ice cream, almond flakes, sliced banana and drizzled with chocolate sauce) and Thai Boba Fluffy Pancake (fluffy pancakes topped drizzled with thai tea boba sauce served with vanilla ice cream). For the Thai Boba Fluffy Pancake, this menu takes time to be made, so you guys need to wait for around 25 minutes, but the staff kindly informed us in the advance. In my opinion, their croffle is legit good. But sadly the Thai Tea Boba sauce is too runny for my liking. For beverages, I ordered their Lychee Iced Pop Tea (which is sweet, nice and refreshing), Lemon Squash, Frozen Minty Chocolate and Red Velvet Frappe. Overall, I really like ambience and all the orders from Sonoma. For this sweet visit to Sonoma Gold, i'm gonna rate them 4 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
Read moreFound this place by accident when I drove around the area. Easy to find though, very close to Graha Manggala Siliwangi. My first impression was this place had a nice vibe, everyone was incredibly friendly. They did say that their specialty was steak but I ended up ordering something else. I think it was baked rice, some juice (forgot the name but it has "something-something smiley", Peachy Smiley perhaps), and something-something lychee. The menu is widely varied, which was nice. From steak, asian cuisine, pasta, and cakes. The ones that I ordered were all so tasty, I was delighted. You could tell that the juice was fresh, the lychee drink was unique. and my baked rice was just delightful in the right portion.
Place was decoratively chic, you would not only love the food but also the pics taken in here if instagrammable pictures is what you're after. Parking was easy and quite big. This is a good place for many occasions. from birthday parties, a get-together, bukber, or just a simple brunch/lunch for two. Would definitely come again to try...
Read moreI'm from Sonoma County in California and was excited to stumble across this restaurant and even more excited to see it had 4.5 stars. I took my colleagues to dinner here and was sadly disappointed. The decor is... Interesting. Sort of Alice in Wonderland. The menu is mostly steaks and a few Indonesian dishes. We ordered porterhouses with sides and the waitress took the orders on a tablet. No alcohol on the menu, which was surprising given that Sonoma is famous for wine and beer. The waitress came back a couple minutes later to apologize that they had no porterhouses. So we switched to Ribeyes. That meant we had to go around the table and all give our orders over again because the tablet app couldn't handle that change. The food was ok but the steak was tough.
I say...
