Gang Nikmat — Restaurant in Bandung City

Recommended for those with small group or dating (I don't have a girlfriend so don't count my opinion for this). If you are having a reunion with lots of people, this place is not recommended. Small (tiny, imagine your own garage) parking space. Don't come here with a car, because the parking space can't support in and RR Martadinata Street does not support any car that parks on the side of the road. I didn't like when they told people to park at the sidewalk. It is a sidewalk man, don't park there. But the food is delicious, the coffe is also good(for those who liked coffe, I'm not so I can't comment on that). If you sit inside the building, it looked comfortable (I haven't sat inside) , but if you sit outside, it's not. Because the place where people sit is also the road where people cross with their motorcycle to park. If you don't mind it then okay, but I can't. Gang nikmat is located right by cihapit market, tucked away behind Grammars and is accessible through the store or through a small alley of a nearby mosque. I went here for an early lunch, arrived a little before 12 and had to be waitlisted for a little bit. I ordered the ayam gulung isi telur asin set (the set comes with rice and a choice of iced tea or coconut water) for 50k, and ordered an additional teri honje for 28k. The food was delicious, as a fan of kecombrang, the teri honje was my favorite althought the tempura egg was kind of doughy instead of crispy. The ayam gulung was also delicious, the skin is crispy and the salted egg flavor perfectly compliments the sweet sauce. The place itself was pretty small and had few tables (isnt suited for big groups), but I was happy that this popular place fulfilled my expectations. Food here is amazing. They may charge you a bit but it is definitely worth a try. I think it would be better if you eat with your friends and share. Tried their sidat asap (super smokey eel/unagi with spicy gulai sauce) and it tasted FIRE🔥🔥. The teri honje was fragrant and has a hint of umami from the teri medan same goes with the sambal matah (not authentic style but i love the flavor of it.
