Don't get me wrong, we had a wonderful dinner. Food was excellent like always, generous in portion size. Salads brought uncommon but amazing taste and texture. The people running service were helpful. We went home happy and satisfied.
But in my opinion, there are loads of room for improvement, especially for a place in this price range.
The menu was needlessly difficult to navigate--digital or otherwise. Honestly, there were just too many good options to choose from. The sections were also too many, a bit confusing, and weren't ordered like how we expected it. Let's just say, we flipped (or scrolled) pages more than was necessary.
The digital menu wasn't all that more convenient. We can't search the menu, even with the browser's find function. It took its time to load, probably used more data than necessary downloading full page images of a long menu. And, this one's most important, no quick navigation between sections. I'd think a place with a link to the online menu stuck to every table would have no less.
Past the menu, the food took a bit to arrive. It was understandable, there were a lot of us ordering. But then they get delivered all at once, appetizers to beverages, shortly filling the table. In my opinion, some dishes should be served first so that I don't need to wait long before enjoying or choose which big portion I eat first. There were queuing dishes on each person. Food were getting cold while we finish others. While, again, there were nothing bad about the food, I personally couldn't enjoy them fully. I expect appetizers to work an appetite, not let my steak get cold.
In the end though, Bellamie Boulangerie was great overall. We would definitely dine here again on another occasion. I, myself, would love to see this place inch...
Read morePlace is spacioussss and pretty on the inside. They have selections of brunch but also pastries and cakes. I came in for specifically dessert and here are my orders:
Vanilla eclairs: light & fluffy. Vanilla custard wasnt too sweet, love that it is cold yet the outer crust was still crunchy.
Raspberry cheesecake: this has the most odd texture cuz unlike any other cheesecake, this cake texture is more pudding like as in they use too much gelatin? Maybe to hold the texture. But you can def taste the cream cheese and it wasnt as heavy as other cheesecake tho. Maybe due to its pudding like texture so more seamless eating experience.
Tiramisu mille crepes: I expected their individual crepes layer to be as thin as First Love's but unfortunately it wasnt. The crepes itself was too thick, so the texture was more mushy and wasnt as sharp as the normal mille crepes I used to indulge in. I would expect to have that sensation of bite with mille crepes that you know, you can peel the layer and hear how thinly the layer is while being rolled over the cream hahaha. This didnt manage to give that experience.
Last but not least, their blueberry cream cheese cube. Love this. Perfect combination of blueberry jam and the blueberries itself with the sour cream cheese and maybe a lil bit of lemon? Not too sweet and I love that it has a tad of sourness from both cream cheese & lemon!

As a loyal customer of Bellamie since 2018, I rarely open the menu since I always order the same thing out of habit. When I said, "One beef stroganoff, two beef mushroom carbonaras," it was my usual way of ordering. I didn't pay much attention when the waiter repeated my order, *as I felt it was clear enough. The waiter was very kind and friendly. though I regret not knowing his name 😓😓
However, what arrived was beef carbonara pasta, not the sandwich I've been ordering for years. I mentioned it wasn't what I ordered, and the waiter apologized, even though I knew it wasn't his fault. I felt terrible 🫠
Then came a gentleman, possibly the hall manager, named Reyvaldi. He stepped in and ease the situations with such charm. As someone who understands PR, I can say he is exceptionally skilled at his job. His interaction with customers was effortless, smooth but still proper. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finally, the two beef carbonara sandwiches arrived, delicious as always. And to our surprise, the mistaken carbonara pasta was given to us as a compliment!??😩
Once again, I can say every aspect of this restaurant is truly delightful—the food, the ambiance, and the service. Best in town.
