First time here, and here my honest review
First is....parking lot....pray so you'll get a parking slot....hahaha
Atmosphere is kinda a fusion between a cafe and a dining restaurant...not exactly cozy, but still comfy and a bit homey....good place for hanging around with friends or family members.
Now food....some are hit and some are missed. Like 'nasi goreng kambing domba' (lamb fried rice) isn't a hit for me, it's a li'l bit sweet for my taste. Iris coffee is also not quite what i expected to be...but salted caramel one is quite good, oh, and Curry katsudon is also good.
Price : well, i think it's apropriate, still affordable and the serving portion is quite big....start from IDR 11k for mineral water to around IDR 90k-ish for a portion of oxtail soup with rice, coffee based beverages are around IDR 27k - 38k, so overall average prices is around IDR 40k-50k.
Service : good, the staff are knowledgeable regarding the menu. And they responded well despite the rush hour (dinner time on the weekend).
I have a pleasant time here although i have to wait for a while on the...
Read moreVisited Jabarano, a delightful coffee spot in Bandung with several branches across the city. We stopped by the one on Asia Afrika, right in the heart of Bandung’s historical district—such a charming and central location.
The place has a really nice vibe, decorated with modern, vibrant takes on “maung,” the iconic Bandung tiger. The design is fresh and colorful without being over the top—very tasteful and full of local character.
We tried quite a few things: the Nasi Goreng Telor Barudak was flavorful with a generous portion—definitely satisfying! The Baso Urat was okay-ish, while the Nangka Goreng was a pleasant surprise—crispy and sweet, a fun take on a classic street snack served café-style. We also had one of their sourdough items, which wasn’t very sour (probably adjusted to local taste), but still tasted really good.
Overall, it was a great experience. I've also come here a few times to work—the layout is spacious, the tables aren't too close together, and it makes for a comfortable working environment. A solid spot to relax, eat, or get some things done in the...
Read moreVisiting the Bandung coffee shop designed by Ridwan Kamil. Ambience is quite good and aesthetic. But regarding the taste of the coffee & food menu, it is a bit expensive, but the portion and taste are far from delicious. The taste of the coffee is inconsistent. When ordering an Ice latte macchiato for dine in, the taste is quite ok and not too sweet, and then ordering another Ice latte macchiato for take away (the portion of coffee is smaller and the taste is not as good as dine in) if it's "cawerang" in Bandung language and it's given lots of sugar. For those who take away coffee, they drink it straight away and are a bit disappointed because the taste is not consistent, different from ordering dine in. The palm sugar iced coffee is too sweet, like the taste of sweetened condensed milk, it doesn't taste like palm sugar at all. If it's too early in the morning there aren't many choices on the breakfast menu, the chicken porridge is a bit expensive, it's not worth it because the portion is very small, the curry noodles are also not good, it tastes like using...
