Kimaya Braga Bandung by HARRIS — Hotel in Bandung City

We love this KIMAYA BRAGA !! Stayed here for 4days, 3nights. The location is superb, the room is wonderful, the facilities are OK, and the parking lot is awesome. For those who wants to enjoy the old city of Bandung (Asia Afrika and Braga) them this is the right hotel for you. We enjoy walking to Braga & Asia Afrika everyday either just to sip a cup of coffee, looking for breakfast to dinner, or just strolling around enjoying the surroundings. The room just perfectly fit for 4 of us (Yes, I’m a family traveller -most of the time-). There are many positive reviews about the hotel FAMILY ROOM. We really love the room with 1 queen bed, 2 single bed, 2 TV with intl channels, 2 AC controller, a cold fridge, and 1 bathroom. And amazingly the Family room is on an affordable rate with a great view. We booked directly on the discovery asr app for ios, though there was an issue on my booking (I’d called the ASR Call Center and they did a good follow up on my issue). They also have a game center (the kids enjoyed playing the PS2 here), meanwhile I choose to have a hot chocolate & try their signature cake “domi/domo” (sorry forgot the name) with an (again) affordable price. The pool on the 16th floor is quite small & don’t have warm water, so Yup! it’s pretty cold. The last one is the parking lot. On my experience there are only few hotel with decent parking lot. As me&hubby like to drive our own MPV while were travelling in Java, some hotel has a small capacity parking lot & narrow ramp. But in Kimaya Braga, they provide a lot of parking lot & I can park my car with no worries at all. And one more thing this hotel is quite aesthetic. Surely, we’ll be back someday! Stayed here 20-22 September 2019 for a medical conference on other hotel nearby. This hotel is located on the most strategic location in Bandung city area, only walking distance from many tourist attraction on this area.

Parking building is large, very easy to parking even on weekend. Check in process was smooth, my booking via Pegipegi was approved without hussle. And concegier was very helping. Thumbs up, good job!

We get room 918, its window is facing Asia Afrika road / Savoy Homann hotel. Great view! Room was small but enough for 2 person & very comfortable. One big surprise was they provided a pair ofDutch pillow (guling) on bed. It's very rare to see Dutch pillow in hotels, especially on international hotel chain. But we found something really annoying... Wifi connection was very unreliable, sometimes shut down without warning. We tried using local telecommunication provider instead, but their signal was very difficult to reach our room. Please fix this problem. We also saw dust spots in room and hallway to our room.

There is a small swimming pool on rooftop, I tried it and it was small and shallow, but adequate for refreshing our body. Breakfast was good enough, no complaint. But dining table and stool was made from very light wood, we almost spilled the food when we move. Maybe management should replace the dining table and stool with better one.

But even with some minor problems, we were very enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. This hotel is very recommended if you want to explore Bandung city, still one of the best option in this area. Hope I can...

Location Wise: 10mins Away From The Bandung Airport. Convenient Stores, Pharmacy, Starbucks & "Street Food Are Within A Walking Distance.

Room Wise: Spacious And Has A Great View (For The Tops Floor)

And What Make It Worse? Is Their SERVICE!!!

1. I Requested And Paid For "Anniversary" Decor To Surprise My Wife, I Was Expected Roses and Towel Swans. What I Got Was Roses And Towel Dog. Dog?! The Moment I Saw It I Was Shocked And Disappointed. You See, Im A Muslim, To Have A Towel Dog On My Anniversary Day, Is Quite A Disrespectful.

2. Day By Day, I Will Spend Here And There & I Always Have Loose Change Such As Coins. So I Decided To Keep Those Coins Because My Intentions Were To Donate Those People On The Streets. On The Day 4, Those Coins Went Missing, Someone Took It. Is Not About The Value That Matter, Is About The Integrity!!

3. My Wife Bought An Outfit Beforehand For Our Anniversary Dinner. After Dinner, We Went Back To The Hotel To Get Change. Her Outfit Was Placed Inside The Laundry Bag To Be Wash And Dry. Guess What?! After Our Laundry Were Washed And Dried, Her Outfit Was Ruined With Stains & She Only Wore Once. She Was Unhappy.

4. Every Morning I Will Have My Coffee And Everyday They Didn't Even Wash It Or Replace With The New Cup.

My Wife And I Were Totally Disappointed. Didn't Expect It. Will Not Come Again, Worse...
