Matsuri Jiro — Restaurant in Bandung City

This restaurant is easy to find and you will not believe what on the inside if you only judge it by the outside look. their interior style is combining the modern and traditional japanese look, very cozy and you can really feel the japanese vibe, but they need to arrage some stuff to make it perfect!

I would recommend you to order pork katsu like in my photo, salmon japanese porridge and fried shrimp to complete the porridge, for your kids carbo you can order cha soba which for me the best cha soba in bandung, the texture perfect and the soup taste also better than any japanese restaurant in bandung. They also give a free appetizer like a potato salad and what made me happy was the free ocha and you can re fill it again and again.. the ocha is so gewd!!

Their toilet is clean, the restaurant also clean and tidy.

Price is reasonable and it is worthy, with the taste and food quality that you got.

If you have a toddler, worryless!! They provide many hihh chair for them..

I will recommend to visit this resto before lunch or dinner time.

The Negitoro Don was really great. The tuna was fresh and it tasted amazing with some dashes of soy sauce alongside wasabi. They were out of salmon today but I didn't mind since Negitoro is usually what I order in Japanese restaurants serving seafood.

The Matcha Cold Soba was alright. The tempura that came alongside was really cripsy and overall the portions were quite huge.

Good place for couples to dine in as there were closed rooms in the floor down below.

Everything ordered was nice and fresh. Especially the chirasi and Inari. Best inari zushi in Bandung. Splendid. The curry tasted like the one from coco curry. Pickles was good; OG. Except for the sukiyaki. Sad piece of broth, the tofu was acidic; pasar kind of tofu, not the soft odourless one. For the broth i added sugar and soy sauce and asked them to reheat. Twas so much better.
