My Juice & Swike Karang Anyar — Restaurant in Bandung City

Been wanting to try Swike Karang Anyar for so long, finally I have the chance to taste it. Maybe the experience is will be differ from eating it directly at the food tent, but I ordered this one via online delivery to be enjoyed at hotel. I ordered 2 menu from Swike Karang Anyar, which are Swike Goreng Tepung (Deep Fried Frog) and Swike Kecap Mentega Manis (Sweet Butter Soy Sauce Frog). Both is to my liking and definitely gonna order more in the future. I totally recommend their Swike Goreng Tepung, the flour coating is unexpectedly tasty, salty and savory. For their Swike Kecap Mentega Manis, it's also delicious, however there's nothing stands out compared to the same this from other restaurants. We went here Wednesday night. Parking is a bit difficult on a busy day since this street is all street food stalls and it's packed. Since this place is on the tent on the sidewalk, it is kinda cramped and not the cleanest place.

However, food is great. Menu is nice and small and straight to the point. They are all frog cooked in several ways. You can order the rice separately as needed to compliment the main dishes. The juice stall next to it makes some excellent juice. They have a large extensive menu and they are great!

Our favorite was the kodok goreng tepung mentega (deep fried butter frog)! Definitely...

The swike I choose to have is fried with floured crispy skin..served with sweet soy butter sauce and rice .. if you ask for plain "kuah" (soup) you'll get this fragrant tauco (miso-like) soup in a small cup that go along the dish so well..the swike itself is bigger than other swike restaurant I've tried before..I'm not a big fan of swike since usually the meat is not satisfying, but this is not the case here..the swike is quite plenty and quite large..the sauce had a hint of sweetness, but lean more toward savoury...overall a quite satisfying dining...
