Ngopi Doeloe at Sangkuriang Bandung is a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Indonesian culinary experience. From the moment you step in, the warm hospitality of the staff, notably Ms. Rosa, Mr. Adam, and the affable restaurant manager Mr. Alan, sets the tone for a memorable dining journey. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of dishes, among which the nasi goreng and bitter ballen truly stand out, each bursting with rich flavors and expertly prepared. For those craving a crunchy delight, the singkong goreng is a must-try, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The attention to detail extends beyond the cuisine, with the coffee float being a delightful addition to the menu, offering a refreshing and satisfying conclusion to the meal. While the ambiance may lean towards the quieter side, it provides an intimate setting for diners to savor each bite and engage in meaningful conversations.
Overall, Ngopi Doeloe excels in delivering not only exceptional food but also a memorable dining experience, where attentive service and delectable flavors converge to create moments to cherish. Whether you're a local or a traveler exploring Bandung, this culinary haven is...
Read moreI went to this place on a Saturday night, the atmosphere was great!
Not a lot of people, but the seats were in very pretty and comfy positions. There is a smoking area and a non smoking area. The staff, very friendly and polite.
Great taste in music! Mostly English songs from the 2010s and the occasional korean song in between (oh and there are ads sometimes lol).
We had a chicken salad, chicken wings (exacty 4 pcs), pletok tofu (technically fried tofu with cabe rawit inside it), Jadoel coffee and a caramel macchiato (it's kinda absurd how they give you 2 sachets of sugar when the drink itself was already very sweet lmao). All in all it was around 160k.
I'd say this cafe is a nice place to chill with friends or have a one-on-one conversation with someone, 14/15 (-1 bc of the too...
Tenderloin-nya lumayan, sirloin-nya cukup juicy, fries-nya banyak, jadinya kenyang banget. Asam-asam iganya surprisingly good dan disajikan pakai pemanas. Brownies bakarnya enak, recommended.
