The location of this place is strategic. The entire decor in the restaurant made it look fancy, pretty, hip, and high class.
When I came, there were 2 gathering event are going on, so all indoor seats are full-booked. The outdoor seats actually looks better, but it is hot to sit outside during daylight.
The service is okay, though they kept bringing me my dessert while I am not yet even finish my main course. I think the staffs were underwhelmed by too many customers. They could just ask me if I am ready for dessert rather than just keep bringing out my dessert twice. It was like interrupting my conversation with my friend.
There are good variety in their menu, some looks like fusion like what I ordered.
The Salmon lodeh is okay... The salmon is a tad dry for my liking, the eggplant and mushroom in it are not as soft I would expect in Sayur Lodeh. The idea of putting salmon with lodeh is good, but I think it was a bit bland. I wish they would give more salt into it. That is too bad, because had they season the lodeh and the salmon properly, it could be a knock-out menu.
The creme brulee is too small portion, the sugar brulee on top of it seems very minimal, so that brulee experience is not like what I wish it would be. The custard tastes okay. The peach fruits is fresh though I do not think it is necessary to accompany the creme brulee. Maybe so it would look pretty on the plate, but I prefer to pay for more creme brulee rather than extta peach.
The burito tastes good. This is the only food I ordered that tastes good, I like the spices in it. Though it tastes more like a samosa.
The price of the food for me is above average cafes in Bandung. I think the price is still fair, but with lack of salt, small portions like that, I would feel it is not that worth it. I hope they can improve and not shy with salt.
The best thing about this place is the ambience and decorations. It definitely would look pretty...

Had dinner with one of the dumpling families who hail from Italy.
• EAT AND DATE - Gnocchi Pasta #SupportLocalProducts • at @sakabistrobar • Jl. Karang Sari, Bandung.
Ever heard of Gnocchi, If translated into Indonesian version of Wikipedia like this; Gnocchi are still a family of dumplings that vary in Italian cuisine, made from small lumps of dough consisting of semolina, plain flour, eggs, cheese, potatoes, breadcrumbs, cornstarch or similar ingredients.
Cooked with pesto sauce. Pesto is a type of sauce from Italy that is usually considered a specialty of the Ligurian region of northern Italy, especially the city of Genoa. This sauce is made from basil leaves, pine nuts, coarse salt, parmesan cheese and olive oil.
The pasta menu served by Saka Bistro is comfortable for Indonesian tongues, with a creamy pesto sauce and sliced grilled chicken breast.
I recommend it. . Menu 🙏...
Read moreBack to Bandung for year end trip with sissy, we decided to try Saka Bistro & Bar for brunch. I and sis love their ambiance. As for dishes, we ordered Creamy Salmon Pasta (pasta with salmon chunk in cream sauce) and Chicken Cordon Bleu (breaded chicken with smoked beef and mozzarella served with potato wedges, mixed salad and picante sauce). And for beverages, we ordered Strawberry Milkshake and Citrus Berry (fresh strawberry, lychee, lemon). Overall their menus is pretty nice. For Creamy Salmon Pasta the cream sauce is nice with abundant of cheese, the only downside for me is the salmo chunks kinda fishy for me (blame my sensitive palate and smelling ability 😅) but overall still acceptable for me. For their Chicken Cordon Bleu is pretty much standard and there's nothing remarkable about their version of Chicken Cordon Bleu, extra point for their nice plating. As for their beverages, both is nice for me. For this visit to Saka Bistro & Bar, i'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
