The House Plants Coffee — Restaurant in Bandung City

Kopi enak sampe order 2X tapi not for the food. Disappointed twice for ordering simple fries, the first was "Bacon stripped fries" and instead we got a plate of fries heavily sauced with 3 different sauces and a slab of ham :) like a slab? not stripped ? we didn't know how to eat 2 slab of ham over fries with overload parmesan like.. made it look different than what we expected on the menu visuals. Then we ordered again the simple fries but they said we have to wait for a while and then the fries came in quite.. oil filled? not the dry ones ? I just want to enjoy a simple fry, maybe my standard is a simple dry salted fry you get at McD, not a drenched in oil or drenched in sauce over 2 hard slab of ham that filled with parmesan.

The drinks are good though.

Great atmosphere, a lot of seats varying from indoor/outdoor/balcony. I went there to get lunch just after the usual lunch time (about 1 or 2pm) but sadly almost every main course dish are sold out, the only ones left are the light snacks 😅 i got the chicken and it tasted okay.

The signature coffee was quite unique since they used cheesefoam although it can get a bit too salty for me. The Houseplants, bro! Gue baru aja nyobain tempat kopi ini, dan bener-bener ngerasa nyaman banget. Parkirannya nggak gede-gede amat sih, tapi cukup buat yang cuma mau singgah sebentar.

Nah, keren banget deh konsepnya! Adem banyak banget tanaman-tanaman sesuai dengan namanya “The Houseplants”. Tempat kopinya tuh nyatu sama toko-toko baju keren. Jadi sambil ngopi, lo juga bisa nyari outfit baru. Jadi rasanya kayak nyelip ke dunia fashion gitu, sambil ngopi santai. Asik kan?

Fasilitasnya oke punya. Ada toilet yang lumayan bersih, dan musholanya cukup luas buat yang butuh tempat beribadah. Colokan listrik? No worries, banyak banget. Gue sih suka bawa laptop, jadi nyaman banget bisa nongkrong sambil ngetik-ngetik.

Ini dia yang bikin gue seneng, tempatnya punya dua lantai. Lu bisa pilih mau duduk di dalam yang no smoking atau di smoking room. Ada juga yang semi outdoor dan outdoor, tergantung mood lo. Bisa rileks di dalam sambil nikmatin kopi atau ngerokok di smoking room, pokoknya pilihan banyak.

Harga kopinya? Gak bikin kantong bolong. Affordable banget lah, apalagi ada promo ngopi pagi dan paket wfh di siang hari.

Pelayanannya juga ramah banget. Meskipun kadang rame, tapi pelayannya tetep nge-handle pesanan lo dengan baik.

Tempat ini juga cocok banget buat yang suka foto-foto. Desainnya unik, dan ada banyak spot kece buat narsis. Jadi selain buat ngopi, bisa buat nongkrong sambil update feed Instagram.

Gue saranin banget nih buat yang kerja dari cafe atau suka cari tempat ngopi yang cozy. Speed internet juga aman lancar. The Houseplants worth it buat dicoba.
