Came early and was waiting for check-in for around two hours on June 2016, we decided to give this restaurant a try, even though we knew we would have the afternoon tea and the breakfast in the same venue.
Kicking it off, Indonesian coffee tubruk (black one), Milkshake Green Tea, Oreontal Grani were ordered. The coffee was bland and flat but the rest was mouthwatering.
Afternoon tea. 3.30PM to 5PM.
The best local snacks I've ever had thus far. Special mention goes to the tofu (I had more than 10, I guess), fried banana and their rissole (risoles). Can't remember the others, but we managed ourselves to try them one by one. All of them were damn good!
Breakfast (6.30AM to 10AM weekdays and 6.30AM to 10.30AM during the weekend).
Next morning, we decided to have Indonesian foods. So we ended up in the same restaurant again. The difference was we took other seats in different corners in order to rejoice mountain and pool views. Splendid. Resplendent. Eager to try the Western cuisines offered in the lounge venue.
Like any other resto within five-star hotels, the variety of menu served was similar. The taste was the sideline. In a nutshell, four thumbs for the breakfast.
Service was excellent. The waitresses highly impressed us. Not only warm, affectionate, and approachable, but also very confident when talking with the guests, ultra speedy (all of them were youngsters), cheerful and extremely sociable. Feels like you had your own breakfast at home with fun atmosphere.
They had ordinary seats and offered several couches for visitors with family. If you want to just relax and chill upon having your meal, enjoy the ultra fast wifi. Downloaded 1GB file in about 15 minutes. How would you say? ;)
At night, when we bypassed it to have our dinner outside the hotel, we realized how romantic the atmosphere was.
Note: What they yet to have is private dining room. Definitely will go back whenever...

I called again the next two days as the day is getting near, and the receiptionist transfer my call again and told that the restaurant phone is busy. she asked me whether i’d like to wait or call again in a few minutes, then i told her about how the restaurant closed my call without answering, she took the inisiative to note my numbers and said will ask the restaurant to call me back. and until now (the day i planned to have lunch with my fam) the restaurant didn’t call. I know I ain’t the vip but since the website told me to book through phone, then what am i supposed to do to have lunch/dinner there? barged in? and we have a baby and a kiddo, so we need to make sure we got some seats. anyone from padma who could help me? really dissapointing for such a good...
Read moreBeautiful hotel grounds and a great view from the restaurant. It's what I would call an upscale all-you-can-eat buffet. The prices are astronomical relative to the Bandung average, but still reasonable for the huge quantities of barbeque, desserts, and West Javanese favorites available in such a ritzy environment. The staff does a raucous song-and-dance conga line for any birthdays in the house, and there are lots of families, tourists, and locals among the clientele. We stayed for about 3 hours, drinking it all in and grazing. The staff seemed a little bit suspicious of us (two young western women, not staying at the hotel, applauding madly for each of the three birthday performances) and the seating host stopped us to ask if we had paid our bill on the way out the door. We had, of course- but perhaps they've experienced dine and dash issues in...
