If you’re looking for bland food, this is the place for you! For 60k rupiah, I got a burger 😁. The bun was apparently designed by someone who believes in the “go big or go home” philosophy, while the patty clearly chose to go home. The patty was charred almost beyond recognition and drier than my jokes. After dissecting the burger, I managed to locate approximately half a tablespoon of what might have been tartar sauce or mayonnaise or possibly just the chef’s tears. The flavor was so subtle, I’m still not entirely convinced that it existed.
For about the same price, my sister had an “American” mixed platter with sausages, sliced smoked beef, omelette, chicken nuggets, and veggies. I don’t wanna be redundant but there’s surprisingly no sauce again 😮. I guess us Indonesians wouldn’t want to stain the plate and make it less white.

Read moreOur visit to Homeground Restaurant Bandung was truly heartwarming, and a big part of that was thanks to Nicky, our wonderful waiter. From the moment we walked in, he welcomed us with such warmth and sincerity—it instantly made us feel at ease and well taken care of.
Nicky’s service was attentive and full of heart. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were comfortable the whole time. Thank you so much for the delicious pancake, and we absolutely loved the strawberry & chocolate milkshake—so refreshing and rich in flavor! The wonton was also incredibly tasty—crispy and full of flavor.
Nicky is not just a great waiter—he’s the kind of person who makes a dining experience feel extra special. Truly an asset to Homeground. Keep up the amazing work, Nicky! We’ll definitely come...

The service was a bit all over the place, though. I went just as they opened, and it was already crowded. They didn’t seem fully prepared, and our order got forgotten. After we raised the issue, though, the staff sincerely apologized and assured us they’d improve their service. They even went above and beyond by offering us a free bill to make up for it.
Overall, despite the hiccup, I’d still recommend this place. The food and cozy atmosphere made it worth it, and I think they’re trying their best to...
