As a long-time patron of Dalaraos, I can confidently say it's more than just a ‘kedai’ or local restaurant; it's an experience steeped in rich flavors and warm hospitality.
From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of authentic local cuisine. Dalaraos has mastered the art of serving delicate local dishes, each bursting with distinctive flavors that transport you to the heart of Indonesia's culinary heritage.
One of the highlights of my dining experience at Dalaraos is their iconic nasi tumpeng, a feast fit for royalty. Whether it's a birthday celebration or a family gathering, the sight of the towering cone-shaped rice adorned with an array of mouthwatering dishes never fails to impress. Each component, from the fragrant rice to the succulent meats and vibrant side dishes, is crafted with care and attention to detail, elevating the meal to a culinary masterpiece.

Read moreThis warung is one of the best if you look at quality, cleanness, taste and freshness of the food. If you want to have a taste of real authentic, high quality soul food, you should definitely give this place a try.
It's buffet style and you pay for the amount of different dishes you choose. It's just a tiny bit more expensive than your average local warung nasi or warteg, but still a lot cheaper than those fancy sunda restaurants in the city. Still very much budgetfriendly prices, and it's is definitely worth paying a little bit more for the quality.
Also a big plus: they serve red rice (brown rich) as well! And for Indonesian standards is the food not too greasy, so it's a perfect place if you crave a bit healthier food options.
The staf is very friendly and they deliver an excellent job as it comes to hospitality and cleanness.
We keep coming back...
