Hectic place to taste local Sundanese food. I came here during 1st night of a long weekend. There's several of their stores along this road, but when I arrive there around 8 PM only 1 stores still open and the other seems to close their door recently. If you want to dine in, what you need to do first is search for empty seat (you will need to seat together with stranger). In the door, there's someone saying to people there's no available seat inside but people would just go directly inside or upstair, no one to assign table for you. You will get free ayce lalapan bunch, sambel terasi, and karedok leunca in each table, just ask the waiter for refill if yours get empty. Also 1 glass of hot plain tea/person (not sure whether we could ask for more). For ordering additional lauk, just go to the waiter table and took their set of menu list + empty paper + pen (they will also add list of available menu at night), then give your order to the waiter. They take a long time to process your order so make sure you order enough portion since the start (even for krupuk, there's none upstair). Tips : I think my portion of chicken and paru satay is small, so better order more. But for the taste, their sambal is very good š Even for me that's not really liking sambal. For jukut goreng, they might sprinkle too much salt after frying it, beware for those with high blood tension. But the crispiness is awesome. Can't really say a lot for other menu as I don't order much, but there's a couple of local sunda people that seems to be their loyal customer so the taste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn overall, this will be my first and last time to visit this place unless there will be a significant upgrade in some point. I would recommend you to visit this place only to satisfy your checklist-curiousity āš½ Here is my point of view in 3 aspect of Place, Price and Taste :
Place 2.0/5.0 Outside Limited Parking Space, heavily crowded and I have 2nd turnaround to actually in luck to find a spot
Inside Always full & Messy place, you have to wait for other to finish first even the place itself have already contains 40-50 people In nearly 80-100m2 area(CMIIW). Also there seems to just set a table wherever it has 1x1 or 1x2 area, either on table or "lesehan". No pattern or mindness of good to eat restaurant.
Lacks of Information, first impressions for newcomer when you get inside would be clueless on whether to order first or pick a place. Actually you can pick the order list from front cashier and then pick the the place first before submit your order.
Price 5.0/5.0 Affordable price, I 4 of us did order for 1 main menu each( grilled chicken + rice + tofu/fermen soybean) with steam mushroom(Pepes Jamur) and Corn fritters. The bill is around 220k
Taste 3.0/5.0 Standard Taste, other than the special sambal(lenca), there is no special or memorable in all food I tried, from chicken to tofu or corn fritters as it is a basic for...

We came in pretty large group of 8 persons, and decided to asked one of their staff if there's any table available. Luckily, the staff direct us to one available table inside (their house is really big and long, but really glad there's one table available that could accommodate my group). Services is really quick, nimble and efficient. All of our orders arrived within 10 minutes after order. For myself, I ordered Ayam Bakar (grilled chicken breast), gepuk (sweet and spicy fried beef) and Perkedel Jagung (corn fritters). All totally delicious and satisfying comfortable lunch menu for me. They offer sambal, leunca and lalapan for free, but for Sambal Dadak there's an extra charge. Notes for you guys, they served a really mean sambal (totally hot and spicy, especially for me whom isn't a big fan of hot spicy foods). For this nice visit to Warung Nasi Ibu Imas, i'm gonna rate them 5 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
