Came here for lunch on public holidays, group of 4 with children, crowded, estimated waiting time 30 minutes. They provide valet parking with pay as you generously. They have indoor and outdoor, obviously outdoor for smoking. Have many tables both in and outside however kinda slow for the waiting line due to oddly waiting system. Even though some table are empty, they are remain unoccupied due to lack of waitress?
For food, We had the quail mala (45k) for 2 quail, surprisingly taste salty hint of spicy from the mala, some part juicy some kinda dry. But worth trying if you like mala, the spiciness is bearable
The beef chasiu (65k) portion are small, IDK I think better order the package with hainam rice since the hainam rice itsel is IDR 12k/portion. Taste sweet savory and tender, delicious
The roast chicken half portion (88k), portion are big, delicious seasoning and the chicken is juicy. Along with the sambal it is delicious.
The prawn laksa (around 60k I think), also delicious, crispy, sauce is nice although more like spicy mayo instead of laksa
The beans (35k), is delicious, but not your typical sauté beans, it is saute and adds creamy mushroom sauce.
Had the creme brûlée sweet potato, served with vanilla ice cream with crush peanuts, not sweet, definitely suitable for asian taste since not overly sweet and taste good.
Overall, they probably should fix the waiting system. But most of the food is delicious and...
Read moreWe arrived at around 1 PM on a Saturday and were put on a 6-person waiting list. I guess it's because the place is quite popular, so it's always crowded. After waiting around 20-30 minutes, we finally got a seat. The space is a bit cramped, and we ended up sitting outside, which wasn't ideal since it was cloudy and looked like it might rain. I think they should mark the outdoor seats as unavailable during cloudy weather.
Despite the small hiccup, the food was absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the 'Chicken Charsiu with Noodles', 'Ubi Cilembu Brulee', and 'Teh Kundur'. The noodles were perfectly savory, and when paired with the sweet Chicken Charsiu, it created a delicious balance of flavors. I added some chili oil for an extra kick. The 'Teh Kundur', a simple drink, was surprisingly refreshing and a perfect palate cleanser after the oily noodles. But the real star of the show was the 'Ubi Cilembu Brulee'. The texture was spot on with every bite - from the crispy caramel to the soft sweet potato. Even my friend ate the skin! It's a must-try when you visit.
Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. The food was fantastic, and I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends. The only suggestion I have is to increase the spacing between tables. Other than that, the atmosphere was quite conducive for a long chat...
Read moreWoi Supertiam is a delightful kopitoiam-style café nestled in Bandung, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between nostalgic charm and modern flair, with cozy indoor and outdoor seating that makes it ideal for both casual hangouts and quiet solo visits.
The menu is a Peranakan dream—think Hainanese chicken rice, kaya toast, and their standout signature: Ubi Cilembu Brulee. This caramelized sweet potato dessert is not only photogenic but also incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend trying their caramel quail, beef brisket, and roasted chicken—each dish is flavorful and well-prepared, though the roasted chicken was my least favorite of the trio.
Don’t miss their chili oil—it adds a bold kick to any dish and elevates the entire meal. Prices range from Rp. 50.000 to Rp. 100.000 per person, which might feel a bit steep by Bandung standards, but totally reasonable if you're visiting from Jakarta or looking for quality brunch fare.
Service is friendly, the place is clean, and the vibe is always lively—especially on weekend mornings. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Woi Supertiam is definitely...
