Truly serving the next level of Nusantara cuisines in Bandung! As the scene starts growing at quite a rapid pace, we'v got new players coming up and each time it just gets better! As of last evening, Plataran, move aside because now Bijan has overtaken you! Keep it up and you are sure to soar! The asem asem daging was kurang asem, ( do make it to become more asem please!) but it was great nonetheless, kudos to you for the bebek goreng bali, the meat did not reek of game one bit as testified even by my wife who is senstive to such stuffs! Please do add more soup dishes such as soto betawi, i'd like to definitely taste your take on such an iconic dish! And do not overlook the pineapple - shaped nastar thats individulally wrapped packaged in the 2 jars at the front entrance cashier's bread shelf top! The filling is amazingly delicious and dont get me started on the tart bit, heavenly buttery soft! At Rp13,000 each that is a bargain for this side of paradise that you will your palate with!...
Read moreI was absolutely blown away by the exceptional quality of both the drinks and the food presentation during my visit. The ambiance, coupled with the remarkable food quality, presentation, and taste, along with the outstanding customer service, made my dining experience truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its affordable prices and the fantastic 30% discount, making it a must-try destination. This establishment left an indelible impression on me, and I consider it a standout among dining options. Read moreI really had a blast in Bijan. Greeted with its warm and vintage yet modern atmosphere is the first thing that I experienced. It serves Indonesian food with modern twist.
The waitresses really nice and explains the menu well, we ordered the signature dishes based on the recommendation, fried fillet gourami with young mango sambal, fried watercress, corn rice, and exotic drinks. Nothing of the menu we ordered fails, it's all good and satisfying. The young mango sambal is great and comes in generous portion. The gourami is fresh and well cooked, it's deep fried with thin batter, crispy outside and tender inside.
As suggested on its name, it's family friendly with small playground in the back yard.
And, I personally really enjoy the old indonesian pop songs they play on the speaker.
Will repeat visit some...
