This place is somewhat reminding me of Malaysia! Like Penang! The location seems to be filled with the Chinese people and the atmosphere, you can hear the locals speaking dialects like hokkien or teochew. The place is pretty save in terms of security and streets have many varieties of shops, coffee shops, wet markets. The location is a bit harder to find as we had some troubles finding the coffee shop it’s quite a distance when u walk from the main road, so we just took a cab. The coffee shop is super busy and very crowded so getting a seat might be challenging. However, the hygiene and cleanliness is good, the cleaner will clean up the place quickly and also there is tissue on the table! This coffee shop is known for their famous Cha kuew 3T which is a 3 in 1 combination of Cha kue, yellow noodles and kway teow with chai po, egg and their secret dark sweet sauce. The dish was unique in its taste, the noodles and Cha kue is fried until it has a crispy texture outside and chewy on the inside! All these mixing with their chai po which gives a slight salty taste and lastly the sweet taste that goes together with everything!! It’s so different from SG, I will definitely be missing this dish!! Amazingly the price is 16000 IDR which is super affordable I am pretty sure you will order more than 1 plate!

Read moreAbun Char Kueh is a must-try for any food lover. This mix creates a wonderful textural contrast, all brought together by a smoky, savory-sweet dark soy sauce. The dish offers a perfect blend of chewy, springy, and silky textures with every bite, making it a unique and highly satisfying meal you won't...
Read moreA good local delight, saw an online post. They pre-fried the Cha Kue, and heat it up when you order, which sort of makes it hard and a bit of a disappointment.
However, I am very surprised by the stretchy taste of the Kway Teow. Recommend everyone to try the Kway Teow noodles since it is fried on the spot. Their spicy chilli give it more layered flavour and really a best taste. For a plate of food that cost 18k rp, it is definitely...
