Saveurs de France — Restaurant in Batam City

Apparently, this is the best restaurant visited over our last 3 days in Batam. We tried the local Indo restaurants, food courts, western food etc but this turned out to be the best in terms of food quality, ambiance and value.

Located beside the Harbour Bay, this french restaurant served a wide variety of western cuisines. All the dishes ordered met our expectations (incl the 24k nasi goreng- highly recommended but took a long time to prepare).

We reckon this is a good choice after some disappointments in highly rated indo restaurants.

Pricing overall is very reasonable for a good quality lunch before our departure from Batam. This is an underrated restaurant which is worth visiting when you're in Batam. We will definitely visit them...

Went there Sunday morning just when it's just opened but surprisingly pleased that all the menu that we want to order is available, not only breakfast and brunch menu. 4 of us ordered different set of meal and one appetizer. The meal served with beautiful presentation similar as those served in high end restaurants. The only downside is there are quite gap of times to serve between first meal and the last meal which mean the first person already finished the food while the last one just started. Croissant is cold and not crispy ,high probability that it was from overnight , agio olio is wet and taste average . Atmosphere should be serene and a relaxation place to chill and dine but instead the music is very loud and most of them are pop songs which make the place very rowdy and unpleasant. Owner should take this feedback into consideration as you are dealing with “French “cuisine (in a way ) and not trendy apparel shops or quick bite cafe . 😅
