Bayfront Mall — Local services in Batam City

Very much a working in progress mall. It's connected to the ferry terminal, and it's also connected to Batam Marriott Hotel. There's a Bayfront Residence above this mall as well.

What they're trying to do, is to make this feel like an aggregation of all tourist activities needed between Singapore and Batam. It's very much a work in progress state, with the many construction work happening all around.

Basic stuff are here. Kiosks that sell ferry tickets, bakeries for your kueh lapis, and the usual fast food options. If you're willing and able to walk out a little, there are also some seafood restaurants nearby. A little more expensive, but the...

Not many shop open. Those shops that open are mainly for tourists returning to Singapore or Malaysia. Things are more expensive in this more such as Spa, massage, food (some also cannot find price information) etc. Exit this mall or terminal, the outside surrounding also not many shop open and also similar expensive compare to inner batam areas such as penuin market area. Can give this areas a miss unless you like to dine and see harbour water filled with trash.

Leaving this area, can take grab or gojek to other areas of batam which cost around 25-28K IDR vs taxi double that price.

This mall is connected to the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. Your last minute shopping for goodies, meals, money changer, coffee etc. you will transit (need to walk across) this mall) to seafood restaurants and night market.
