Not sure why the rating is so high??Totally not worth the price for the kind of service. Visited with my parents and we were told at the entrance that my parents can enjoy senior rate so we decided to give it a try. The buffet time was 90 mins and we were fine with it.
SERVICE: 4 of us were seated before 5PM (non peak hours). We gave our first order immediately when seated. Some items were missing when the first order came. After waiting for 20 mins, i noticed the staffs were just lounging around and staring into space. Nobody came to clear the empty plates that are piling up on our table. Throughout the whole buffet, it felt like we are supposed to self-service and clear the plates ourselves as no service crew would initiate to clear the plates unless we get their attention.
I decided to check with one of the female staff by speaking in english (As i do not speak bahasa). I asked her to kindly clear the empty plates and check our missing orders. She nodded her head, cleared the plates but just went back to standing around and didn't check our missing order.
Another 10 mins passed, and i decided to check with the 2nd male staff about the missing order. I even repeated and tried to find out if he understands me. He just nods his head in acknowledgement, and casually walked away and went back to wiping some empty tables?? I gave them a benefit of doubt and decided to wait for another 15 mins. Nothing happened.
Finally, I went up the the 3rd staff at the counter and asked if there's anybody who understand english that can help me. Because i just experienced 2 of the staffs half-heartedly acknowledging me (i guess they couldn't understand english well?) and went on to lounge around and chat with each other.
I perfectly understand if they could not communicate in english well. But what i'm hoping for was them at least making the effort to ask their colleagues for help if they do not understand me, instead of pretending to acknowledge me and brushed it off. IT WAS NOT EVEN A BUSY PERIOD! ONLY A FEW TABLES OF CUSTOMERS!
It's a 90 mins long buffet, but took almost 60 mins just for the 1st order to arrive completely. The service pace is so slow that I decided to test them, by ordering 1 last plate of karubi (mind you, its only our 2nd round of order), because I expected by the time they serve me, my remaining 30 mins will be up soon.
Come on, just 1 last plate, our 2nd order, in a 90 mins long buffet, at a non-peak period. Surely i can enjoy it before time's up right?
Well, they exceeded my already low expectations. The service crew missed my order again as I observed them busy chatting, or, i don't know, contemplating life.
They were very timely in serving me the bills when 90 mins is up though.
When we checked the bills, i realized they charged me 1 senior and 3 adult price, when we obviously have 2 senior citizens. I explained to them my parents were both 60 years old and above and we can prove by showing their ID. But the counter staff tried to debate that I only inform her there is 1 senior citizen when we entered the restaurant. They kinda tried to gaslight me that I was the one who made the mistake of not clarifying there are 2 senior citizens, but i refused to concede because:
The hostess DID NOT clarify with me how many senior citizens in our group when she seated us. She saw both my parents at the entrance when we were checking the buffet price, told us there is senior rate, we checked with her if my mum birth year is valid, She said yes, she agreed, and were brought in to seat. We just thought they will ask for our ID for verification when billing.
Even if it is just a pure miscommunication, I do not understand why they are so reluctant to change the bill when we are so ready to show my parents' ID to proof their age. If feels like they find it a bother to find the manager with the authority to cancel and rewrite the bills... So they tried to make us just concede to the wrongful billing.

Half way between my meal , I heard staff standing at the ordering counter just behind my seats talking about pimple . Can you imagine eating half way and having to hear this conversation (2 ladies & 1guy) it makes me almost puke at the table and thinking about it feels disgusting . It is just unacceptable. Also to add on when me and my husband called a staff , none came to our table as if none were paying attention to the customers they are either busy chit chatting or pushing one another to take orders . Definitely worth every cent paid. There is a wide range of hotpot ingredients and some sushi spread at the open area. Ingredients like vegetables, eggs, mushrooms, frozen food were fresh. Cooked food were also kept warm.
For the combo, youâll get 120 mins of cooking and eating time compared 90 mins if you selected either the yakiniku or shabu-shabu. There are desserts and ice cream to complete the meal.
