UNCLEJOKOPI.ID — Restaurant in Bogor

It was said that this place is the 1st uncle jo coffee shop which start open back at 2018. A cozy and humble place despite located near Alun-alun Bogor and train station. It will be easily missed because the signage is small. Also it was tricky to park here with car especially during hectic hours. I like the concept for uncle jo's interior because they use refurbished chairs and tables. Minimum expenses but getting the unique vibes and participating for better environment.

They have quite wide varieties of beverages, snacks but not for heavy meals. I would say they focused for people to hang out and chiling while spending time here. The dining area is medium size both the indoor and outdoor.

The price for everything is affordable. Some that I have like roti jadoel only cost 9k and it will taste nice if you dip it to ice/hot choco (28k). You can also choose your coffee origin if you like v60 for 25k. Light bites that I have tried were donat kampung and fried fish cake...

A cafe that is nearby Bogor station and has a mushola! You can just walk from Alun-alun Bogor exit door to this cafe. I don't recommend you to bring your car because the cafe is located at a narrow aisle.

Besides coffee, you can enjoy non coffee beverages with light snack. They also sell rice-based meals for those of you who are starving.

I ordered Sei Sapi Sambal Matah and it was that delicious! You got the smokey savory flavor from the beef, combined with the oily shallot sambal would make your tongue dances.

The coffee was creamy and the taste was just ok for me. The french fries was too salty and the sausage was ok. I like the atmosphere, it was homey.

I really love the place, so homey. Its a good place to work with laptop because they have very ergonomic chairs, with a small pillow to put on your back. Good for group hanging out as well, The place is clean. Wifi is quite good. I ordered a hot latte and a rice bento for lunch. The bento was good and worthy, but sorry i have to say that the latte didn't meet my expectation, it was just tasteless at that time and also the barista was not as friendly as other coffeeshops in town.
