I booked a Deluxe Room Only Double Bed (without breakfast) for two night (04-06 Sep 2020) via Travelka and spent about 960k (±480k a night). The location of this property is close to Bogor Botanical Garden (Kebun Raya Bogor). Check in process went well. The WIFI speed was good. They provided two (2) key cards, one for power key and the other one as room key. The room was quite spacious and equipped with a double bed, a television, a desk, toiletries, towels, and a prayer mat/rug. You can see the street view from this room. They also provided refilled bottle for mineral water instead of mineral water in plastic bottle (reduced the usage of plastic bottles). Room was clean. However, the different condition was observed in bathroom, i.e.: In the next day, when I refilled my mineral water bottle, I must go to the front office as my card cannot used for opening my room. Yellow stain was observed in the lower surface of the wall next to the shower and in the inner surface of the toilet. Dispenser of the body soap was out of order (They replaced with the new one in next day). Water was trapped on the floor underneath the sink as the wall supporting the basin blocked the water flow to the drainage. Even though I tried to wipe the water by my foot to the drainage direction, the water is always flow back to its former position. As this is a 4-star hotel (marked by Travelka), I expected not to find those observations, especially in the bathroom. I did not feel comfortable while using the bathroom. Hopefully, the other guests did not experience what I did. I believe that there are accommodations in this area offering better services...

I recently stayed at Hotel Royal Bogor, and I must say, it was a huge disappointment 😞. The rooms were dirty and unkept 🕸️, which was the first red flag 🚩. The shower was in a similar state, and reaching out to the hotel via email or WhatsApp yielded no response 📵.
The service at the restaurant was equally poor. It seemed to be staffed mostly by inexperienced young people, possibly students, who were unresponsive when I needed assistance, especially near the pool area 🍹🚫.
Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by an unpleasant toilet smell 🚽💨. Far from being a quiet retreat, the hotel was bustling with meetings, courses, and weddings, which made it quite noisy and chaotic 📣👰♀️🎓.
The food was another letdown. I ordered Sate Ayam, and it was evident that it wasn't fresh but merely reheated 🍢👎. As a travel agent, I prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of my clients, and based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel 🙅♂️🛑. If you're looking for a relaxing stay, I advise looking elsewhere. The lack of a wellness center was also a downside 🧘♀️❌.
Please consider other options for a more enjoyable stay 🏖️🌟.

The cleaning staff wear all black, which is not bad, but just now at 8am they (around 12 cleaning staff) sit around on the floor near the elevators. After cleaning rooms, in the afternoon they smoke and sit around in the stairs area. But they can clearly be seen chatting & smoking on the stairs when we are waiting for the elevators!
And yesterday they threw away my personal special-purpose toothbrush! When I asked the Front Office to tell the cleaning staff not to throw away my personal toothbrush, a simple "Sorry" was all I got. Today I will keep ALL my personal belongings locked inside my bag in the room. Even my hairbrush.
Food is okay and there is a nice view of the nearby mountain. There is no hair dryer in the rooms. TV Channels are limited, but you can watch FOX TV instead of the usual BBC or CNN. Would not recommend...
