Balai Kirti Museum, the Presidential Museum of Republic of Indonesia, was built as a form of respect for Indonesian presidents. It was inaugurated directly by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Balai Kirti comes from two words, "Balai" Means buildings and "Kirti" are from ancient and Sanskrit languages which mean the main charity or actions that bring fame. The museum is located in the Bogor Palace, precisely on the left side of the palace. At the front of the Indonesian Presidential Museum there is an inscription with the words "Every President Must Do the Best for Indonesia". The museum building has an area of 3,211.6 square meters. The Presidential Museum of the Republic of Indonesia has a three parts building. On the 1st floor, called the Gallery of Nationality, the history of the journey of the Indonesian Nation is displayed. The most interesting on this floor are 6 bronze statues of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition, the Proclamation Manuscript, the State Coat of Arms, the Garuda Bird, the Opening of the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, the Youth Oath, and the Great Indonesia National Anthem can be found on this first floor. Interestingly, in the National Gallery there is also a digital map that depicts the history of the development of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia and the audio visual space that will screen films related to the events and achievements of the presidents of the Republic of Indonesia. This certainly makes the Presidential Museum of the Republic of Indonesia even more attractive. Moving on to the 2nd floor, the Presidential Gallery, the profile of each president is presented in stages. The story of the journey of Soekarno's leadership, Soeharto, BJ Habibie, Abdurahman Wahid, Megawati Soekarno Putri, and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono were presented complete with oversized robes and his office. The history of the presidents is also equipped with memorabilia, paintings, digital photo albums and video walls. In each profile, each president's aphorisms are also displayed, one of which is "Never forget history" from President Soekarno. On the top floor, 3rd floor, there is a large room containing a sofa and a garden. This floor seems to be made for a place to relax while enjoying the history of the leaders of this nation. Overall, it is very interesting. The Presidential Museum of the Republic of Indonesia at the Bogor Palace was opened to the public. But before visiting this new museum, we should contact the Bogor Palace secretariat first. Hope the procedures will be not...
