Sate Kambing Sari Cempe Neng Lia — Restaurant in Central Java

Another famous Sate House in Tegal that provides a different way of cooking their Satays, they don't use to many soy sauce in their Satays so their's look more light than the other Satay restaurant in Tegal

Their taste is different in a good way, more savoury rather than sweet like the other restaurants. In terms of portions, their's are rather small than the others though

The atmosphere can be better, the restaurant seems to be needing an urgent upkeep. The seat that I was seating had lost its foam and springs, I feel inside the sofa and can feel the wood right away when I sit on it. Not comfortable at all!

Service was just ok for me, for food you should try their Asem-asem...

I was surprised that now Neng Lia occupies 2 ruko. One of them is now full AC. Compared to some years back, this is a huge success for them knowing that it was only a tent.

My visit to Tegal last weekend was tour the “Sate Kambing”. I visited 3 different places, and finally end it by visiting Neng Lia for the second time in 2 days. All 3 places are recommended by my local cousin, but Neng Lia is still the best.

The satay is tender, juicy, with a perfect taste. No smell of the goat meat or whatsoever. If I could suggest the property owner, please open until midnight like some...

My favorite place to get Sate Kambing Tegal. The meat is tender and no bad smell. If you plan to have your dinner here, please consider to come earlier. The place will be fully occupied and you may have some menu like gulai or soup already out of stock, especially on weekend. You may also experience that the waiters/tresses get overwhelmed with the incoming order, and they may serve the order not in order — they may serve customer who come later than you first.
