Remboelan - AEON BSD — Restaurant in Pagedangan

It was my first time dine in at the "Remboelan" Restaurant chain restaurant, but it was not for my wife. It was her several times' visit including other branch Remboelan chain restaurant.

Yes, it was a family lunch time for us, my wife, my son and I.

It was really a busy day, and the restaurant was pecked with many visitors. We were lucky enough because we didn't need to wait and queued before seated. Yes, it was because we arrived there around 11.30 AM when people not yet feeling the time for lunch.

There are tons of menu in the menu book. Literally you can order almost any kind of food that are real Indonesian food, not only from Java and Sumatera, but also Sundanese, Manado, Surabaya foods etc. all of them seemed indulging those who craved for Indonesian food.

I should say that some food (fried snack), sometimes too oily, so not too healthy. Be aware of this if you are healthy food conscious.

Price wise, I can say that the price is fair, not too pricey, reasonable; affordable. The waitress was quick enough, need around 15-20 minutes before you can start to bite your food.

There are many table there, but they become quickly occupied during the lunch time. So, if you arrive late, be ready to wait a bit before you get your table.

My family and I recently had dinner at Remboelan Restaurant in AEON BSD, and we were thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the good ambiance and cozy environment made for a very pleasant dining experience.

The food was absolutely fantastic – truly very tasty and clearly prepared with care. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and each one was a delight. While it is a bit on the pricey side, we felt it was completely justified by the high quality of the food, the diverse menu options, and the overall comfortable setting.

Adding to the positive experience was the excellent service from the waiters. They were attentive and efficient, ensuring our dinner went smoothly.

First time came to this new branch of Remboelan and came here around 3 p.m. for my late lunch. No need to wait for a table, not like on lunch or dinner time. This time I ordered 2 dishes: Ketropak Shirataki (5/5) LOVE THIS! I like the their nutty sauce, their shirataki beehoon was well cooked. The veggies were also well cooked. The springroll was chunchy and so satisfying. The best part was their telor dadar, simple but umami. No regret at all. Es Cincau (4.5/5) The coconut milk (santan) was delightful, asin asin gurih and sweet together in one bite. But for me, the gula jawa was quite too much and made the santan not really tasty if you mixed it up too much. But still, refreshing!
