Junction Café — Restaurant in City of Medan

We asked table for four and there wasnt space available downstairs so the staff pointed us towards the smoking area where table was available. We told our server could you please tell as soon as table is available. We asked three times. Later one of my friend went and check upstairs there were empty tables. What I don't understand is why wouldn't you check if your guests asks you to?

We ordered two drinks and four food items and it took them 44 minutes to deliver the food. Yes we were checking our watch cause we were hungry. We again asked our server but repeatedly told,it's coming.

Taste of food Lemon grass butter chicken rice was good but portion too small.

Creamy pasta was so bland. It has absolutely no flavour.

Lastly guacamole and the entire food was horrible. it was written as chef choice but my god that was one of the worse food I have eaten.

So Absolutely pathetic service And awful food.

Large menu with plenty of Indonesian favorites and Eastern classics, in addition to a robust selection of pastas and other Western-oriented dishes. Coffee, tea, and juices for drinks. Prices are reasonable depending on what you order.

Grilled chicken & rice was flavored well and served with two sambal (Indonesian chili sauce) options. Chicken was slightly overdone but this is typical in Medan/Indonesia for health reasons. Fried rice looked flavorful and a good portion for the price. Passion fruit iced tea had plenty of fresh passion fruit in it and was sweetened just right.

Definitely would come back here again - lots of space so you don't feel smashed up against the next table. Great for conversation - no...

been there this morning, and i book the table for 15 people and the service was superb, extremely good and i wish i could go back there to just hangout with my friends or maybe dinner or lunch. nice place to eat and hangout. not too expensive but its typical cafe in medan in terms of price. drinks looks very amusing and cute suitable for cafe date ideas. also if you brings your family here it is nice and the place is really...
