INTERLOKAL — Restaurant in City of Medan

I had my rsv on 4th November 23 for 3 pax. It was supposed to be a pleasant dinner experience but unfortunately, it did not, quite frankly.

The moment we entered the door, the hostess did not give any warmth greetings whatsoever from the beginning, therefore me and my pals agreed that we didn’t feel welcomed at all.

I asked the hostess to find other table at front (we were placed at the very back-corner), but she said it’s not possible according to our reservation eventhough we reckon there are many other empty tables. I understand if it’s the restaurant regulations to not move table, but she did not even apologize for the inconvenience but give us a bitter expression instead. Yikes.

It was supposed to be a special dinner occasion for me and my friends since I am leaving Indonesia, regretfully, the beginning experience affecting the whole night & the dinner experience.

The food are delicious and the drinks are great but I hope it can be delivered more quickly given the fact that this restaurant seems like it has an international vibe to it compared to other local...

They have a lot of savory dishes to fulfill your tummy needs. The Makassar rdd fried rice with fried duck and pamelo salad are reallg. recommended.
