One of the most popular restaurants in town, renowned for its Chinese cuisine, has gained a significant following among locals. However, due to its Halal certification, the restaurant has made some notable changes to its menu. As a result, many exquisite traditional dishes that typically include ingredients like lard are no longer available. This shift in ingredients has led to a distinct difference in flavor, which may disappoint those who are familiar with the authentic taste of classic Chinese dishes. While the commitment to Halal practices is commendable, it has altered the overall dining experience for some loyal patrons who remember the restaurant's original offerings.

One of the more well-known seafood restaurant that has been around for years. The interior seems to be recently renovated from the clean fixtures. The menu is extensive with different style of cooking for the seafood of choice. The steam fish in soya sauce is a star dish along with the tofu with veggie dish. The pineapple that they offered as one of the specials for the night is one of the sweetest we had in our life! Food comes out relatively quick but sometimes it's hard to get the servers attention as everyone seems to be busy doing something. Food - 8 Service - 7 Vibe - 7 Price - $$$$

If you crave for good quality restaurant food and NO PORK?? Definitely check out Jumbo Restaurant. This place has been around since i cant remember. Been serving consistent taste and amazing food! Famous for their Jurong Steam Fish (pricy but worth it) altho beware of the abundant fish bones and i dont know why but their Fried Rice are AMAZING TOO!!! To close off your meal, remember to order Pineapple from the waitress too. :)

The live fish was expensive and even that was OK but staff was rude. Our change from the bill came back and when we took it, the staff openly laughed. Apparently in Indonesia, no one takes the change if it is below a certain threshold (but how were we supposed to know this being tourists). I then inquired why they laughed and finally the manager appeared apologetic that they did. Also most of the wait staff do not speak English there so it was...
