Kopi Toast — Restaurant in City of Medan

Small, pleasant shop offering a surprisingly large menu of tea & coffee drinks, juices, Indonesian favorites as well as a few Singaporean and Indian dishes. Cash, credit cards & Indonesian e-wallet options accepted for payment. Prices are quite reasonable.

Indoor and outdoor seating that makes the most of a small overall square footage/footprint. Outside is shaded by trees and umbrellas and inside is cooled by AC.

Food and drinks are fairly typical for Medan - good and satisfying without necessarily being memorable. Roti canai manis is tasty but a bit rubbery and not as light and flakey as more traditional Indian restaurants. Drinks as well are tasty. Staff is sometimes confused about the various options. I asked if the Thai iced tea is sweet (normally it is!) and was told it wasn't but they would bring sugar syrup. It was plenty sweet without the syrup!

Space is suitable for small business meetings or working quietly on your own or meeting a friend...

One thing that I realized the first time I set foot here. "What a nice place to to hang out." It has a nice outdoor tables and cozy indoor dining place.

As usual I tried the wifi, it's actually fast. Enough to stream some 1080p videos.

There are many things in the menu and the most important thing is, it's surprisingly affordable.

This is highly recommended for you who seek place to hang out and chill.

Oh lastly, the parking spot is quite small, one star away...

Comfy place, good ac and wifi with affordable price of food and beverages. Clean, neat, and quiet. Super welcome gesture from the waitress. Best enjoy on weekdays (too crowded on friday and saturday).
