Warung Old Brick — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

No idea why this place is rated so high. Utter disappointment. The reggae music is nice and the presentation was good, but that's it.

The meat was extremely chewy, worst pork I've ever had - so bad you could have served me 2 yr old old frozen chicken and I probably couldn't tell the difference.

Smallest portion of rice I've ever seen. The sambal (which they charge extra for...that's a first in Indo) was disgusting, bland, and less spicy than a McChicken... It tasted like ketchup mixed with onion juice and vegetable oil.

Even though I'm conversational in bahasa Indonesian, the server literally said not a single word to me in any language. At least when I left he smiled at me.

Extremely overpriced. They are preying on tourists who don't know what indonesian food should taste like. Maybe their sandwiches are good..I don't know.

Would not recommend to anyone I want to remain...

We stayed in Sanur for three weeks, so we tried a lot of restaurants more than once.

This one was a bit hit and miss with the food. We had one good meal there, but when we returned with friends another night the pork skewers were so tough they were inedible. They were very slow to serve the food on busy nights.

They have live music most nights, but unless you like really noisy restaurants, this is not the place to be. The music was usually so load that we could barely hear ourselves talk. We walked past it every night, so we can attest to this on many occasions.

Tucked away in a quiet back street of Sanur, this small local eatery delivers big on flavour and value. We ordered the satay chicken and pork ribs, both dishes were delicious and served promptly. Prices are a fraction of what you’d pay along the main strip, making it an ideal spot for travellers on a budget.

The service was friendly and efficient, with food arriving quickly after ordering. Seating is limited, so expect a short wait during peak times, but it’s well worth it. The menu offers a balanced selection to suit a variety of tastes.
