Forketta offers a mixed experience, with some standout dishes but also a few disappointing ones. We started with the Burrata, which was the highlight of our meal. It was incredibly creamy, and the combination of arugula, tomatoes, and the burrata was a perfect match. The dish was elevated by the addition of oil and balsamic, making it feel multidimensional.
However, the Spaghetti Al Ragu was a letdown. The meat sauce tasted like a frozen meal, very basic and something that could easily be made at home for a fraction of the price. The sauce itself had a canned flavor, which was disappointing.
The Gnocchi 4 Formaggi also missed the mark. The gnocchi had an odd tang, giving the dish a funky and off-putting flavor. To make matters worse, the cheese hardened in an unappetizing way.
The Penne Pancetta was bland, with a creamy sauce that tasted like nothing. The addition of artichokes did nothing to enhance the dish. The Meat Lover Pizza was overly salty, possibly due to the choice of meats. The crust didn’t taste great, and the pizza was very oily, though the cheese was enjoyable. Unfortunately, it was served on a broken plate with a sharp edge, which was concerning.
Service was adequate; we were welcomed and seated by someone who seemed to be the manager, who kindly offered to store our helmets. Ordering and food service were unremarkable, neither bad nor exceptional.
The location is a bit challenging for parking, especially for cars, though it’s more manageable for bikes. The restaurant itself has an average appearance, with nothing particularly appealing about it, though the toilets were clean.
Overall, Forketta had some hits and misses, with the Burrata being the saving grace of our visit. The experience could have been better, especially with more attention to the quality of the main courses. Sadly wouldn’t come...

Foods were amazing, professional staffs, nice venues, unbelievably reasinable prices, vegan foods and meats were marked as simple icons on the menu too. Felt that they really care every details of everything.
In this island I've tried lots of pastas and pizzas and all of those were just some random foods in a shape of italian. Here I've tasted the real one. This is the what we know. The chefs in the kitchen were all wearing the chef's uniform, and I thought those were their pride. Ive never seen chefs uniform here in Bali.
We've ordered a rigatoni carbonara and a margeritta. What surprised me was that they served both at the same time. They must be have standard recipes and time for every foods to serve instantaneously.
The staffs were also very professional. In Korea, somehow carbonara is known as cream pasta, not the yolk and cheese. When I ordered the carbonara, they first asked me whether I want it to be creamed or original one. They must have faced the situation of compaining where's the cream I guess. So they must have been trained to do so.
I loved the venue also. Its building is made of woods with some indonesian carvings in it, but also the vespas and other things inside. They had mocha pots everywhere and basic italian liquors like limoncellos.
I've been looking for draft beers but couldnt find it except the bottled. Here you can find prost draft with a big glass.
5 star rating of course and it's so unfortunate that I dont have this restaurant back in...

Last night I got a takeaway Hawaiian pizza. It was ok. But then I did stay chatting and having a beer for over 4 hours. They also had live music so that was a bonus. Fabio kindly gently reheated it as I was leaving.
Tonight I ordered another Hawaiian with mushrooms and went straight home. Delicious! Great crust. Generous toppings.
Great open space. Great staff. Comfortable for dining alone. It's a popular restaurant for locals and tourists. Prices are reasonable for the good quality of their menu. Appears to be always busy. Clean bathrooms.
I'm looking forward to trying some pasta.
Thanks for last night and thanks for the pizza tonight.
Part 2, 31st July 2023.
I went back again last night.
This time for the Pasta. But again I got talking. This time with a Dutch woman who'd read my above, Part 1 review, and decided Forketta was worth trying. She really enjoyed her pizza. I never met anyone that'd read one of my reviews before. It was rather amusing.
So another takeaway happened.
Rigatoni pasta with a, (not really on the menu), sauce of tomato, mushrooms and cream with parmesan. They made the sauce exactly how I asked. It was spectacular. Generous amount of rich creamy sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly. With a little side of parmesan.
I highly recommend this wonderful...
