We had an awesome time at Sei Nusa. The food is very traditional Indonesian fare, and it's incredibly delicious. Everything is incredibly well cooked and very well spiced on top of that. I highly recommend the 'set' options, which come with a full plate as well as a small bowl of soup (yum!). The smoked pork is very very tasty, the flavors are on point and the texture is just right.
Additionally, I got the opportunity to try the pork satay (sate babi), pork rendang, and fried bananas. They were all perfect. The sambals (they have a spicy one and a non spicy one!) were both very very delicious as well, and the hot one had a really great amount of kick to it. Go try it all, honestly, there wasn't a single thing that was not delicious.
Also, I tried the lychee tea and the coffee with palm sugar and milk (kopi susu aren) and they were also delicious. They use local coffee and the lychee tea was incredibly delicious (it's gotta have lychee juice in it, which is awesome, super clean natural delicious flavors, and definitely not too sweet on either front)
Additionally the service was lovely and the space is homey and comfortable to enjoy your meal in. The restaurant is very close to the airport and very close to some nice...
Read moreHad the original se’i set that comes with the se’i pork, cassava leaves, rice, sambal lu’at, and brenebon soup. I’ve had my fair share of se’i across flores and timor islands and safe to say this is definitely one of the best!
The pork is quite juicy and smoky. The sambal is tangy and has that freshness due to the raw chillies, lime and local spices. It’s less spicier than your typical lu’at. Soup is also much more spiced than typical brenebon.
Prices are quite reasonable, 65k for the set which is still in the pricy end of indonesia, but not so much for labuan bajo’s end. No tax was charged. Service is polite and ambiance is pretty okay. Overall a great experience...

The lovely lady, owner of the restaurant was very friendly and so did the staff. The lady explained to us that the pork in her restaurant come from a family farm and she always makes sure the quality of the meat is top notch. We had the pork se'i served with soup, pork meatballs and vegetables on the side. The smoked pork was very tasty and tender. We also had another dish which is the hot crispy chicken, it was also very good. Highly...
