They've got magic formula to create a core memory! One of the most beautiful experiences I've had! The crew had a huge role to play in making the experience so perfect, with Christian and Bondan radiating professionalism and enthusiasm. They are also incredibly thoughtful in the execution of the tour. One example is how Christian shifted the schedule to ensure that we would avoid the bad weather and still be able to see all the sights. He made it a point to ensure that they never miss any attractions on the tour. On this tour I also told them I wanted to propose to my girlfriend, and within the span of 2 weeks they arranged everything from the flowers, wine, and most importantly, the location to propose. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty to plan for my proposal. The proposal spot was truly beautiful too. Bondan was also our photographer and made a truly beautiful video montage of our trip, as well as photos to capture all the amazing moments! Not to mention the delicious food on the trip, huge range of local cuisine over the 7 meals!
To be fully transparent, there were some hurdles along the trip: There was an issue starting the engine on the first day, leading to a slight (~45m) delay when leaving the harbour. Huge respect to Christian who handled the situation well, and kept us updated along the way. The aircon at Cinderella room was dripping some water, but based on my experience it's quite common in boats. Simple resolution was to place a towel under the Aircon. It didn't bother me enough to get them to help to fix it.
Honestly these issues did not dampen the trip in the slightest, and if anything it highlights the crew's competence to swiftly resolve the issues. I suspect that in response to some issues (in other Google reviews I've seen) about the boat breaking down at sea, they decided to leave the engine on the entire time out at sea. This means that there would be less chance for the boat to get stranded as the engine is running. This was one of the most disappointing travel experiences Iâve had. We booked a 3-day boat trip in July 2025 directly with the company, but on the second day the boat broke down, leaving everyone stranded at sea for almost the full day. While technical problems can happen, the situation was handled appallingly â with almost no communication from the crew, especially from Christian, the tour guide, who offered no guidance, updates, or basic reassurance.
To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns and mentioned I would be filing a complaint, I was threatened with being reported to my embassy in Jakarta. This was a completely inappropriate and intimidating response, simply for speaking up about a ruined trip.
Adding insult to injury, we later found out that other guests on the same boat received compensation, but only because they booked through third-party platforms. Since we booked directly with the company, theyâve refused to take any responsibility or offer any refund.

Jâavais rĂ©servĂ© via OceanEarth Travels, en choisissant la cabine la plus chĂšre du bateau (Cinderella), pensant bĂ©nĂ©ficier dâun confort et dâun service Ă la hauteur du tarif (prĂšs de 800 âŹ). Malheureusement, plusieurs problĂšmes majeurs sont survenus Ă bord, affectant significativement la qualitĂ© du sĂ©jour.
Le moment le plus critique du séjour a été une panne du moteur survenue à 8h du matin le deuxiÚme jour.
Le navire a dĂ» ĂȘtre remorquĂ© pendant prĂšs de 3 heures, ce qui a fortement perturbĂ© le programme de la journĂ©e.
LâaprĂšs-midi aprĂšs la visite de lâĂźle de Komodo, nous avons ensuite dĂ» patienter 4h30 Ă bord sans aucune activitĂ© proposĂ©e dans lâattente quâun speed boat arrive afin de nous transfĂ©rer aux diffĂ©rents spots de la journĂ©e.
MalgrĂ© les nombreuses demandes dâinformations de la part des passagers, la communication Ă©tait trĂšs floue.
Nous avons finalement embarquĂ© Ă bord du speed boat vers 16h30, ce qui a considĂ©rablement rĂ©duit le temps consacrĂ© aux visites. Les arrĂȘts Ă Manta Point et Taka Makasar nâont durĂ© quâune vingtaine de minutes chacun, bien en deçà de ce qui Ă©tait prĂ©vu.
Nous sommes arrivĂ©s Ă Kalong Island bien aprĂšs le coucher du soleil, il faisait dĂ©jĂ nuit : nous nâavons donc pas pu assister au spectacle des chauves-souris, pourtant prĂ©sentĂ© comme un moment fort de la croisiĂšre.
Ne comprenons pas pourquoi nous restions amarrĂ© lĂ dans lâobscuritĂ© Ă bord du speedboat, Christian notre guide qui se cachait Ă lâavant du bateau nous annonce finalement que nous devons patienter 1h30 pour lâarrivĂ©e du Soe Besar Vanrei.
Câest Ă la demande des passagers que nous sommes partis vers sa direction afin de rĂ©duire de moitiĂ© ce nouveau temps dâattente.
Une fois la croisiĂšre terminĂ©e, le plus frustrant a Ă©tĂ© lâabsence de prise de responsabilitĂ© de la part de lâĂ©quipe dirigeante et de minimiser les 8h dâattente cumulĂ©es lors du 2Ăšme jour.
MalgrĂ© plusieurs relances, je nâai reçu aucune rĂ©ponse claire ni geste commercial.
Ă lâinverse, certains passagers ayant rĂ©servĂ© via Easy Komodo ont Ă©tĂ© indemnisĂ©s rapidement, ce qui crĂ©e une situation profondĂ©ment inĂ©quitable entre les passagers dâun mĂȘme voyage.
Il est important pour les voyageurs futurs de savoir que, bien que le dĂ©cor soit splendide, la gestion du bateau ne semble pas ĂȘtre Ă la hauteur des attentes quâun tel tarif et une telle promesse de qualitĂ© laissent espĂ©rer.
