If you're in Jakarta and craving authentic Pakistani food, look no further than Al Zaiqa Restaurant! ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฝ๏ธ Nestled in the heart of the city, this cozy eatery brings the rich, spicy flavors of Pakistan straight to Indonesia ๐ฎ๐ฉ.
The chef is Pakistani, so you can expect traditional taste and home-style cooking ๐๐ฅ. One thing that makes Al Zaiqa extra special is the Indonesian girls working there โ and they wear beautiful Pakistani dresses like shalwar kameez and dupattas ๐๐ฅป, adding a colorful and cultural vibe to the place.
I ordered mutton karahi, and it was absolutely delicious โ spicy, tender, and full of rich flavors ๐๐ฒ. Paired with fresh roti and naan ๐ซ, it was a perfect combo. To top it all off, I had a hot cup of chai (Pakistani tea) โ โ strong, sweet, and comforting.
A big plus: they offer free cold drinking water ๐ง๐ฐ if you donโt want to buy bottled water โ a rare and thoughtful gesture that travelers especially appreciate.
The staff is friendly, polite, and always smiling ๐๐. Though itโs mainly a Pakistani restaurant, they also serve Indonesian food ๐๐, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
โจ Whether you're missing home, exploring cultures, or just love good food, Al Zaiqa is a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal and warm hospitality. Itโs more than just food โ itโs a mini cultural exchange ๐ต๐ฐโค๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฉ.

I had a very poor experience at Al Zaiqa Resto. The restaurantโs condition was unhygienic, with plastic-covered tables, plastic stools, and a kitchen that appeared dirty and poorly maintained.
Service was equally unsatisfactory. Although our order was taken promptly by a staff member, it was repeatedly delayed while later-arriving customers were served first. When I politely asked about the status of our food several times, the staff member walked away without acknowledging me. Even the manager or owner seemed uninterested in addressing the delay or our concerns.
The overall lack of cleanliness and customer care is alarming. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend...

-Tea 10/10 - Simply loved it
Naan 8/0 - Okay
Chicken karahi 7/10 - Okay. More like a korma though
Biryani - 5/10 - To be honest, It didn't taste like biryani. Please make with good or homemade spices.
Tika boti - 2/10 - Too much salt. Bro. Literally i had to wash the pieces but still it was salty. Sadly, we had to throw. 60k in trash.
Overall: Experience wasn't really good. Thinking about cost of food if i compare it with quality of food and dine in experience you're providing doesn't match at all. If you're charging a decent amount on everything. At least you must be able to put the right amount of salt.
I hope this feedback would help...
