Overall: This place is overrated by its own owner. The foods and beverages are just par to subpar and the no-flip flop policy is just obsolete and misplaced.
No-Flip Flop Policy. This rule is not only obsolete, but misplaced. Ridiculous, even. In my view, gone are the times where you regulate guests to come with shoes and dress in a certain way, especially when you're not a fine dining place. Guests like to dress in whatever style they want, as long as it remains modest. This includes wearing flip flops.
To me, flip flops are just light and free.
And, it's ridiculous because for flip floppers, the place offers you to rent rubber slippers for IDR 20K that are, still, actually sandals, which change nothing to your appearance. Today, producers actually make flip flops that are suited for casual outfits, and this seems to be exactly the point that Langit Seduh fails to understand.
What’s more ridiculous with this policy, to me, is the fact that the place isn’t exactly the kind that should require a dress code. It’s an open café, man. Come on.
Foods and beverages. The foods and beverages are par to subpar, but really overpriced. They just don't match their tastes. No further explanation required. An example, though, the fried rice uses hot rice and was very oily. Uncle Roger would be sad.
Loud, like really loud, music. This is more about preference. But I suggest that those wanting to chat with friends after office, for instance, don’t go here. They seem to have a live music event once in a while (or every day, I don’t know) that I guess is fine. The live music goes only for about an hour, and many people like it.
But the tape after that was equally loud that I found it hard to chat with my friends. We had to shout. Even shouting sometimes didn’t help.

All in all, it's a café on the rooftop of a hotel. It offers foods and beverages (and Shishas too). It’s fine for hanging out once in a while, just to get a different scenery. But I wouldn’t...
Anyway here is my testimonial: Lokasi cukup strategis dari pusat kota Jakarta, mudah dijangkau dengan kendaraan pribadi atau publik. Alasannya kalau mau pindah meja harus close bill dulu dan open order baru which means another 125k or 150k. Hehehe no offense yaa kan pendapat saya.
Read moreTo be honest the place and ambience is really nice to wind down after work. but two things bother me so much : a. no flip flop policy. it is simply ridiculous. what do you expect from visitor anyway? people come, eat, chat, pay, and go. it's not attending to met Gala hosted by Anna wintour. b. deafeningly loud music I understand that prevailing logics that playing loud music will ignite the ambience and draws people in. I doubt this idea and surely those who buy the idea must have their brain lobotomized. Some people want to catch up their life with their dearest friends or having a deep talk with their loved ones. Let them be. Make no mistake that the band and singers are really good with wonderful choices for 90s generation which is awesome. However, please consider to lower the music so the visitors can talk. It is not concert but an eatery place to sit, munch, and exchange friend's banters. I wish Langit...
