Angkringan Babi BOY — Restaurant in Jakarta

I thought i already made a review for this place, basically I was like this place, 4 star for me , but my last visit surprised me a lot, their strength point was price , but might be due covid , limited seat , they increase price and for me already pass the value for a place like this, food taste is the same, there are better option with their current price policy. And i do know that we are eating beside the road near sewer (but not an open sewer) , at our last visit (not to crowded) there are a couple of cockroach running around even at stool, which never happen before, but again maybe when crowded cockroach did not dare to appear, If they did try to manage those pest than it is mother nature, if not they should try something about it (there are some cheap solution for that), in the time like this, creativity in business should come first, not with...

"Angkringan" means side street stall. Angkringan usually serve halal food, but this angkringan specialize in Pork product. All kind of pork menu is sold there with VERY VERY WALLET FRIENDLY kind of price (satay each cost below 10k rupiah)

The menu, for main courses they have many kind of pork rice (rica rica, rendang, ketchup, spicy, etc). The rice is served in nasi kucing style, which means serving size is in very small portion. The benefit ? You can try 2-3 kinds altogether without worry having too much.

The side menu, you can pick many kinds of pork satay and siomay. For me, i like the sweet pork satay and the fish fofu.

In addition, you can have the sambal matah for additional sauce as many as u want. Which i love. Big fans of sambal matah.

A simple & affordable girlled pork joint in Kelapa Gading. Serving grilled nasi kucing in banana leave. Non halal food. Small rice package, so you can pick to your belly's capacity.

Plenty of separate side dishes, mainly pork based processed meat and also crispy pork belly.

Pretty busy, quiet fast service as well and economic price. A bit warm, no air conditioning, but it comes with cheaper price. If you are concerned about the heat, then take away is your best option.

Drinks are mostly bottled. Wished they offered more variants though.
