From the very first time I entered the place until I finished my lunch, the crowd still going on. Actually this my first and will be my last time going there. This place served Korean buffet refers to thin sliced beef (with lots of fats they called it belly/plate beef section) marinated with bulgogi sauce, sweet sauce, savory sauce and spicy sauce. They also served chicken sliced marinated with the same sauce. For the premium one you also can have cubed saikoro and steak cut. But I do not choose this. Also they come with shabu-shabu that consists of egg, tofu, lots of variant meatballs, chinese cabbage, pakchoy, noodles and vermicelli. I also don't take this opt. They also prepare mozzarella cheese. Fyi, all the food not finished they will charge you around 25k/50gr.
Why I don't like and feel ambushed while eating? Because, the space is too small, the people is too crowded. They set the table very narrow and the chair is so thin made u not comfy at all. What else? The waiter perfectly neglected you. They're so busy preparing the table for the new customer until they don't have time to clean the condiment place, not refilling the veggie, and the meat, they are too busy drying the plate and the pan using the really dirty oily cloth because when I asked for a new plate, it's greasy though they just wipe it. Even the paper for grill, they also wipe it with the same cloth.
It's really not hygiene at all. For me, this really nonsense. They cost us the same with other Korean BBQ restaurants out there with the same meat options and menu. But others can maintain their hygienist and the crowder. You can't have privacy at all while eating and 75% you will disrupt people while eating.
Just because it's well known and viral don't mean you as the owner can't control your store and your staff. I really not enjoying my...
Read moreIt is located in Kelapa Gading Boulevard street so it's quite hard to miss if you want to go here.. unlike some annoying driver who wouldn't use a GPS ::grumble:: anyway, it has 2 set prices, special for Rp99,900 or platinum for Rp129,900 I hope I get it right. The only difference is in platinum you get wagyu or so they claim selection, otherwise it's all the same, oh and you get some fancy bracelet for opening the refrigerator (be sure to give it back). For 90minutes set of time I think is plenty. You will get a burner with a flat pan(?) to cook the meat, from about 15 minutes to time limit you will get a warning from the waitress about your remaining time so be sure to finish all the meat you take because for every 100gr of left over meat they will charge you another Rp50,000. Pretty normal up to that point, they also have 2 floor dining area so plenty of space even for dinner. The only thing lacking is the taste I guess. While they provided all sorts of sweet, spicy, satay flavour when it's cooked it will taste the same, not bad but also not special. We don't like the chicken because somehow it cooked far longer than the beef and the satay flavor is really awful, too stuffing, my recommendation is take anything besides satay. There are condiments, rice, soup (one type only), lemon tea or orange and some fried stuff, pretty standard. But for us the major downside is the fat, the meat is so full of fat, stay away from here if you don't like your beef full of fat, and we see that the wagyu has even more fat in it. So my recommendation is take only the special set, it's still tender enough and after you cook it the taste is all the same anyway. Sorry for the long review and I hope the franchise can make some improvements...
Read moreWhat I can say is "what you pay is what you get". The price is affordable, you can get premium package for only IDR 109.000 nett. The meat was ok, I like the Wagyu Steak and the Beef Bulgogi. As for the Saikoro, the meat was tender but when I chew, the meat taste more like a hamburger meat than a cutted meat. Other reason why I gave the place a 4 stars was because the meat taste musty (well I understand that it is a budget/affordable AYCE place) but I have tried other AYCE place where the price difference is only IDR 11.000, but the meat taste better. As for the side dishes, you get a wide range of side dishes from chicken wing, ekkado, etc. and they also serve ice cream for dessert (well it is better than nothing at all). As for drinks, well as ussual they served ice lemon tea and orange syrup (I say syrup because it is not an orange juice but they use syrup), I normally did not drink those kind of beverages because it will make you full. Overall if you live around kelapa gading area, you could try this place, otherwise you could try finding AYCE place near your home (rather than go all the way to kelapa...
