Well, nuff said. This is one of my favorite burger joint of all time in Jakarta. So let's review it!
The banner is a bit small btw. It's pretty close to Aji Waras Pharmacy and BRI.
Ambience Nice and comfy, homey vibes, a little bit unique because the toilet is located outside. Nice racing/motorsports themed decoration on second floor. Attracts some racing enthusiasts (that includes me). Overall this place is simple and comfy, nice to have some chit chats here. Lovely. Maybe some more racing stuffs decoration can elevate the "garage" vibes.
Food Absolute top 5 burger ever on my list. The bun. Slightly dry and and savory on the outside but fluffy goodness inside. Amazing, goes really well with the fillings. Tried Hamilton, LeClerc, Tsunoda, Andretti, and smash burger. Tsunoda is my winner. Hope he'll get his first podium soon too. The patty is super juicy, for me it is the perfect ratio between fat and beef. Seasoning is just right, not overpowering, the doneness is great, not too dry or soggy. Andretti was a bit spicy (yeah Nashville style chicken) but the texture is tender. Anyway, great great great Burger of Champions. Fries, if there were unlimited amount of money, i could have been diagnosed with an obesity of truffle fries. As simple as that. Oh the Brisket. Craving for beef rice bowl? Then this is the answer. Smoked brisket rice bowl. Burger with brisket? go for Checo. Feel that amazing BBQ brisket melts in your mouth! Splendid.
Desert I can't say much since its ben a long time since i ordered one from Hazelwood. But. Thing that popped out in my mind, they have GREAT CAKES. No doubt. Their owner/head chef was one of top 3 finalists of MCI and what i know, has expertise in deserts as well. Believe me!
Drinks Coffee!! Their coffee is gooooood. Love that coffee mocktail. Literally all of their coffee mocktail. So refreshing. Prolly i feel like i'm sitting on a japanese river bank in Kyoto enjoying nice cool weather and air with sounds of flowing water.
Price People might spend about 60-150-ish, which i don't complaint over a gourmet burger. I might even want to pay more if i can! Might be a little bit pricey but the portion vs price is fair enough.
Service I saw from reviews there were some service and waiting time issues, but it did not happen to me though. All good all normal, even tho i came in at busy hours. Normal waiting time around 15-25 minutes for a gourmet burger (not your damn fast food burger shiz) is also fair enough. So no complaints on this one.
Will comeback again? YOU BET!! Thank you for the amazing...

Burger Garage isn't just a burger joint; it's a vibrant, immersive experience. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a retro American drive-in, buzzing with energy and a palpable sense of fun. But there's a unique twist here, a compelling story that elevates this establishment beyond the ordinary.
The tale behind Burger Garage is as compelling as its burgers. A classically trained chef, honed by European culinary traditions, returned home to find his father, a retired racing legend, had transformed his passion into a working garage. This unlikely pairing of fine dining expertise and mechanical prowess resulted in Burger Garage, a culinary gem nestled at the entrance of the family's automotive haven. This fusion of master food and mechanical repairs creates a truly unique and memorable dining experience.
And let's talk about those burgers. They are, without a doubt, the stars of the show. Each patty is a testament to the chef's dedication to quality, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. The soft, slightly sweet buns are the perfect complement, cradling a symphony of flavors. What's more, each burger is named after iconic Formula 1 drivers, a delightful nod to the family's racing heritage, showcasing an impressive attention to detail. This thematic touch adds an extra layer of enjoyment for car enthusiasts and casual diners alike.
Burger Garage excels in the details. Fresh, abundant toppings, tangy, house-made sauces, and perfectly crisp fries elevate the dining experience. The sides, from golden onion rings to perfectly seasoned fries, are equally impressive. And don't miss the dessert menu! A vast array of delectable sweets awaits, each worthy of indulgence.
The atmosphere is a key ingredient in Burger Garage's success. Retro-inspired decor, complete with neon signs and vintage memorabilia, creates a nostalgic and lively ambiance. It's the ideal spot for a casual meal with friends or family, where the conversation flows as freely as the ketchup. The service is consistently warm and efficient, adding to the overall welcoming vibe.
Burger Garage is more than just a place to grab a burger; it's a destination. It's a place where you can indulge in a truly exceptional burger experience, surrounded by a unique car-lovers atmosphere. It is the perfect combination of culinary excellence and automotive passion. Read moreBest burger in town so far for me.
If you like big, messy, burst of flavor kind of burger you would probably find this one underwhelming (at least the og BG one that I usually have, but there are other choices with many toppings too!).
But if what you're looking for is a simple yet delicious, comfort burger, then I think this one is almost perfect!
The perfect: Bun is soft yet fluffy and pretty much holds its shape. Doesn't have too strong a flavor but complements the burger nicely. Hands down the best burger bun anywhere. Sauce is really good, not too much, flavour and consistency are spot on Toppings of tomatoes and pickles are just enough to give an extra freshness and zing, not too sour. I would probably prefer the tomato slice to be slightly thinner, especially in the single BG burger, as it can stand out a tad too much on each bite. Now, the patty tastes really good with perfect seasoning and smokey flavor, but..
The almost: after a few bites you can feel that it's a tiny bit dry. Mind you it's still juicy, but I think either they are using too little fat in the mix or pack the patty too tightly. I prefer the Smashburger patty but I don't like the toppings and sauce on that one.
Other than the food, the place is small but quite nice, with enough parking space. Service is super fast! Price is I think still acceptable, even cheaper than other gourmet burgers in Jakarta area.
All in all, this is a respectable little burger place. Been here a few times, quality is always spot on. Highly...
