Today I visited this restaurant and ordered smoked crab, grilled green chili squid, boiled prawns, clams, and young coconut water. The food tasted good. But what I want to highlight here is that the service and SOP at this restaurant are lacking. I ordered young coconut water, and the one they served was old coconut with tough-textured meat. At first, I asked the waiter to replace it with a young coconut according to what I ordered. The waiter refused; she said, If you have drunk it, you can't replace it. I tried to talk to the restaurant manager. The manager also refused to replace the old coconut for the same reason. The manager said that if the coconut was really old, we should immediately ask for it to be replaced the moment they served it. The problem is, if the coconut meat isn't tough, there's no way I will ask for a replacement. The coconut was chopped by the waiter, wasn't it? If they already knew it was old coconut, why were they still serving it? And also regarding their quality of service, a few weeks ago I also visited the same outlet. I don't understand whether the waiters were not given training or what, but the waitress who served us didn't seem to understand the menu(s) and seemed to have difficulty answering our questions about the menu. Arrived 30Apr18, 20.00. Place was packed. Order was hard since what we want either its not there or was suggested to switch to a more faster way like deep fry. Food arrived on table after a series of complaints to the waiters. At last, one of my food was mistakenly taken to the table next to mine who ordered same food.

Ordered fried squid, delish. Chicken green sambal, delish and spicy. Tofu with shrimp inside, crunchy. Sambal, very hot. Want to give lower star, but the manager and 1 waiter already apologize. So 3 stars it is, only because of the service. Nothing more.

Come back? Maybe if i have enough patient. perhaps will try to come during the low hours instead of peak hours.
