Jun Njan Restaurant — Restaurant in Jakarta

My wife's families are regular customer here, ussually we dine here for special occasions like birthday and celebrating festivity.

Our experienced were always pleasant, we loved the food so much. But our last visit didnt strike the ussual cord in term of taste.

To our dislike, the "lindung cah fumak" menu, birthday fried noodle, the "burung dara" and the soup entree is just not their ussual self.

As for the service, they remain top notch, we leave quite later, probably 15 mins after the restaurant normal hour, but no staff complain, they waited patiently, and very nice.

The drawback was from the two flies that hovered at our table, luckily, those unwanted guest quickly dismissed by fire...

I've been many times going to Jun Njan Batu Ceper. Their service is good and fast. The food we ordered also quick to come out from the kitchen. Their Sapo Tahu has a very perfect fried silken tofu. The Fish Soup tasty and the fish is not smelly (bau tanah). Must try menu are Puyung Hai, Nasi Goreng Jun Njan, Steamed Prawns, Tim Ikan Malas and Broccoli Scallop Stir Fry. Ayam Goreng Jun Njan, the sauce is a bit salty.

One thing need improvement is, the cleanliness especially of the restroom. I think it need massive renovation, even though they put lots of camphor, well,,, please renovate your restroom :) Yuk bisa Yuk Jun Njan...

Very keen to be back to our parent's favourite restaurant, to find that Jun Nyan is now a tired restaurant. The staffs wears a good and neat uniform and greet us nicely, but all of them, around 4 or 5 including the seems like supervisor, not looking at us,even before we place an order, their eyes were fixed to their handphone or tv, not even a breaking news, just normal repeated news. The famous steamed prawns were fresh, though were babies prawns. The fuyonghai came as a crabs omelette, no peas as garnish....
